Use ttp dry silicone lubricant on all the mechanical parts even before oiling or greasing let it dry first. You could use PTFE dry lubricant but it's not good for Plastics polycarbonate and the types of plastics cause cracking so probably not advisable. I don't know if it's the white balance of the camera but even the warm looks a bit on the bright side especially in back boxes, you could use a 200 to 600 ohm resistor with the LED cut its brightness down

I am not sure if that's the first use of it, but I have seen it used in multiple machines. Anybody know?
