This was actually their comeback year, after winning four consecutive UAAP CDC championships (2013-2016), they fell out the podium in 2017 and came back stronger in 2018. Since they're trying to be the 2nd team to hold a five-consecutive winning streak and aiming to go beyond that, it's very heartbreaking for them losing in season 80 of the UAAP CDC in 2017. You should also watch that video so that you will see and understand where the emotion of the performers, coaches and audiences come from after they successfully full off their routine in Season 81 of the UAAP CDC 2018. Just search NU Pep Squad 2017.

NU Pep Squad is the main cheerdance performer of National University in Manila. UAAP which is a yearly competition that consists of 8 Universities that compete to each other with different categories in Sports but Cheerdance is one of the most awaited events in UAAP.
