He is so humble. Even when he is denied the first gold, even though he made the great 1800 leap...and the judge miscount that....he never complain but are so happy with the silver. When he got the gold in his second game, I was so happy for him...showing karma is working well. Congrats!

His coach is Japanese and he can't speak Mandarin. They communicate with each other in English. He's young so picking up another language is easy. Besides he travel a lot to N. America & Europe to compete so it's advantageous to him if he learn English and he gets lots of practice for his English during those travels & competitions. He made a lot of friends among his fellow competitors in the West. One can see the camaraderie between them after he won the medals.
He travels all over the world to learn and practice snowboarding tricks. English is global language. His coach is Japanese，they use English to communicate. Su Yiming also know some Japanese.
真的很了不起！年紀輕輕就這麼有想法，能吃苦而且懂得感恩，當我聽他的教練分享蘇把奬牌掛在教練脖子上說這是我們的金牌，我忍不住熱淚盈眶。英文說的這麼流利,跟谷愛淩一樣也是個時間利用高手，是年輕一代的優質偶像！看到中國有這樣的零零後，更加覺得祖國前景一片光明！
也会说日语，虽然只是基本conversational，但是已经很棒了。我有看到在纪录片里他用日语和英语写日记。
今日中國的年輕人的質素真是令在國外的人超乎想像

@@autoclub1234 那你也真没有包容度。英语母语的人平时讲话也根本不在乎语法这种东西，沟通最基本的就是能否把自己要传递的信息表达清楚，只要能让对方轻松地理解，就是有效良好的沟通，苏翊鸣很好地理解了记者的提问，也恨快速地作出了回答。要是你是个学工科的在美国留学，那你估计应该得气得吐血了。因为在美国工程TOP名校中绝大部分老师都是来自印度、东欧或者中东地区的教授，人家不仅不在乎语法，口音都能让你无比难受。
