You just made it so simple to setup this prosumer grade expresso machine! I was intrigued by the flow control kit, thanks for sharing all the tips and tricks! Great content as always, happy brewing ☕️
Great machine, I was about to buy it when I saw that the Synchronika II has just released recently, still waiting for it to land in my country. It's not a massive upgrade, and I'm sure the final coffee quality is the same with both machines, but faster heat up time and the new display on it are really nice upgrades.
The machine doesn't have a vibration pump like the Breville. It's noticeably more silent. Also the steam wand is so powerful, that I don't need to use it very long, which minimizes noise in the home.
The ECM took me about a week to really learn well. I can provide you some tips if you need them, since we both started on a Breville. The biggest tip is to buy high-quality coffee with a roast date of less than 30 days. Grinder is pretty important, too. I went with Eureka.
@@JeremyVinnycoffee is fresh! I visited the shop on my way home with the express in the car:) As for the grinder; that will be the df83v as soon as it’s available 😊
@@JeremyVinnyI must say that I am a bit surprised 😅. After hours of research this seems to be the most affordable way to own some 83mm burrs in a nice machine. I will set me back 900€!! So that’s not a small amount of money and therefore should be really as good as reviewers are posting 😊. To be continued 😊
I've had my Synchronika for a year now, totally agree with your points, especially about the flow control.
Honestly, I never knew coffee machines could be this complex and interesting!
Agreed, which makes for an awesome journey.

Is it just me or does anyone else find watching coffee brewing oddly satisfying?
I consume many TH-cam videos on coffee prep for that exact reason.
Love the detail you put into this. Makes me appreciate the art of coffee making even more.
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm a newbie in the coffee game, excited to learn more.

It is nice to see a beginner to teach and share!
Beginners helping Beginners! If you have any tips, let me know.
I’ve been saving up for this machine, thanks for the in-depth review, it’s super helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Love the mug warming feature!
Wow, didn't know there was so much to learn about espresso machines. Thanks, Jeremy!
Glad we can learn together!
That walnut handle though 😍... adds such a classy touch!
I agree, it's a machine that should be around for a while, so wanted to customize it a bit.
Hi great video. Can you please provide details on the purple /lavender accessories that are on your video?
Here you go sir: www.printables.com/model/530657-vertical-portafilter-stand-duo-and-trio-remix
Now you can find another home for the Breville - Nice video - thanks
@@crissignori7482 I never heard more true words.
@@JeremyVinny Appena esce la nuova versione la compro. As soon as the next version comes out, I'll purchase it (here in Italy)
I liked your 3d tamping station. Do you mind to share a link to it?

Thanks buddy 👏🏻
Jeremy, awesome review as always! Could you do a comparison with other machines in the same price range?
Possibly! I will look into that!
Your reviews are always spot on. Just wondering, how loud is the machine when it's operating?
The machine doesn't have a vibration pump like the Breville. It's noticeably more silent. Also the steam wand is so powerful, that I don't need to use it very long, which minimizes noise in the home.
Just curious, how long does it typically take to clean and maintain this machine?
I honestly have not maintained the machine yet, the only thing I have done is a descaling, and that only took a few minutes.
@@JeremyVinny what do you mean you descaled? ECM and its resellers warn against doing that on these machines.
Anyone else watching this while sipping a cup of espresso? 😄
☕
Great content!
Appreciate that!
Can you do a video on coffee bean selections for this machine? Would love to know your favorites.
Great idea!
Not sure if it's worth the price... but man, it looks like a coffee lover's dream machine.
Amazing! How do I get one!!! I could save a lot of money making my own lattes.
Great video! But can you show more on how to make latte art? Struggling here!
Perhaps once I learn it myself, I'm terrible at Latte art at this moment.
What model did you buy?
The Model is: ECM Synchronika Espresso Machine With Flow Control
I own the same breville and are opting for this ecm. Is there a big difference?:)
Thanks for your review. I really liked it 👍🏻

How long does this machine take to get up to temperature in the morning?
Great video!
About 20-25 minutes.
Good question! About 20 minutes.
I feel like this machine is more for serious enthusiasts, not sure if it's for a casual coffee drinker like me.
Yeah I agree. I started with the Breville. Worked my way up to the ECM Synchronika after several years with the Breville.
Your video just made my coffee addiction worse, haha. Great content as always!
lol sorry!
