Thanks for the tip on the speed. I had just said out loud, "Man, those guys look like they're CRUISING!" like 5 seconds before you talked about your speed. Love the great info!
What a monster brown!! What a day for Nick to go along, too!! Heck, my heart was pounding watching you guys bring that hog in!! Awesome! I think I"m starting to recognize some of the landmarks as you drive to the ramp in the morning. lol Fish on!!
Great job guys! I recently ran across your channel thru Nick's and I've been searching for years for a channel that gives updated reports in the indiana area. I really appreciate your content and updated reports out of each of the local harbors. Subscribed for sure!
I've fly fished most of my life walking miles in rivers. In 2013 I got run over by a forklift so i'm no longer able to fly fish walking. I recently bought a boat and am trying to get in to this lake fishing. You had some really good points and hints to how you had a awesome trip. ID like to Thank You for doing your video and sharing so much info, it helps people like me to try and have a successful fishing trip. I live on the other side of the pond from you in MI. 20 min from grand haven. Thank You again!
Thank you Corey for the kind words. I do hope these videos offer entertainment and also some learning. Thanks for commenting and I’m glad you are getting some pointers from it.
Just an FYI what I do with my offshore boards to keep them from sliding off instead of wrapping around board 5 times i loop it twice in front clip. I use same clips as well but it is quick to release just by pinching clip anyways.. so I feed it normal but make another pass thru clip then back clip.. but always watch you. Went out sat went 5 for 8 in a few hrs... had a short window because of Easter... but hope to get out this next weekend.. east chicago again
I can’t believe it, I was out there at the same time! I saw your lake trout jigging video a couple weeks ago and decided to give it a try. I put the boat in at 6:30 am, and not knowing the area, and seeing the rock wall to the north, I went there. I caught one pretty quick on a Kodiak jig, then nothing for an hour so I switched to trolling spoons. I ended up with a limit between lakers and coho and had a blast, although these big fish are hard to net when you are alone! The largest laker was 33”. No browns, but I wasn’t trolling that deep, and I didn’t have any Thinfish, only spoons. Had a great time though. Keep the videos coming!
Nice job guys! Lots of boats in St. Joe this past weekend! Crappies and Coho, here we go! Tight lines!
Thanks Chris for watching and commenting.

We don’t get as many brown trout down here compared to Wisconsin, Bob. We were blessed this day on how we did! Thanks always for your support.
Great job!!
Thanks, Zach!

Well done!! I am assuming the lake trout jigging will be drying up as soon as the water temp goes up. They start working themselves deeper.
Nice tank of a brown my pb is like 1/20 th of that lol😂
Stream browns are different than great lakes browns. Ha! Thanks buddy!
Aye aye, Captain!
Hahahah
😮😮😮
There we goooo!!!
Is the fish at 19:06 a steelie? No black gums, not dropping scales all over. Great catches nonetheless … brown is a fish of a lifetime!
Negative. 0 spots on the tail. Yes, same square tail but no spots in radiating rows. That’s the dead give away on a steelhead. Thanks for watching!
Keep up the good work! Nick is good luck!! You lost GOLDEN BOY, broken bait!
Thanks, Garrett!
Why don't you guys use East Chicago marina instead of Hammond its a further drive.
Various reasons. We use that, too, along with portage and new buffalo.
