While most 72-73 year olds are thinking about their next patterned pair of slippers, this guy, Rob Halford, well he`s singing his arse off for Heavy Metal on a world tour, bow to Judas Priest 🤘
It was all seated tbf though, but everyone ended up standing once the band came on. I tried to move away from my seat so I could stand and actually have space to move but I got told by the security to go back to my seat
I haven't been to any of the gigs on this tour, but looking at numerous videos I've seen, there appears to be very little connection between the members. They are just going through the motions. There's no enthusiasm, drive or stage presence in their performance whatsoever. As for Halford's voice, granted he's now 72, but he does appear to be having some tuning issues on this tour.
I saw them at Leeds and for me there was some energy on stage but the weak link seemed to be Andy sneap. He's a good player but he just doesn't have the presence that glen had so it's lacking some energy from that part but the rest of the band were giving it their all and it didn't feel like it was going through the motions. In my opinion, the videos don't do it justice and they actually are very good when you're there in person. At least Leeds was like that

Imho SFV title song is on par with Electric Eye, Sentinel or Hell Bent for Leather. Fight me on this
I don't understand, why the crowd is so dead, they're not moving at all, like robots. Shamefull. By the way, for they ages excelent performance by JP and Halford
That is bloody awful! I loved Priest in the late 70s and very early 80s when they were the greatest metal band (although Maiden with Paul Di'Anno came close), but this is a travesty. The vocals are terrible and there is no stage presence. However, thanks to everyone who has put videos up; you have saved me from wasting my money buying a ticket.
Wow, SFV, Painkiller, Rapid Fire, AND the new album title track in the same set? Rob kickin some ass up there!
it's awful lol
It’s been dropped from the set since
Hope they keep this diamond in the setlist 😍🤘🔥🎶
nah man false hope just for this show (as per setlist.fm) 🤬😭
they did not :- (

The sound was so bad, everyone was cringing during this song.
You guys are idiots, its a fucking live JP concert. You would have preferred to have him lip sync like KISS??
Oh I do love to see Priest by the seaside, bring on Bournemouth. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸🎸
Finally this up to watch. Thanks 🙏 so much.
So sad they didn't play it here in Leeds it's my favourite song from the 80s
I don't think I've ever seen such a dead crowd.
lets hear you@VincentEllis-John8-12
it's a seated concert, even if you stand up you cant move

It was an all seated venue... and if you started getting too rowdy the security could throw you out. Believe me we all enjoyed as much as we could...
Long Live the METAL GOD!!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻
Robert Halford, ladies and gentlemans!
I'm glad I saw them in 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85 and 86. I also saw them in later years, but those earlier years were defining moments. And now? Well...
yes father time. no words

Maybe it's because they want to enjoy the show on a monday evening after hard work.
@@tumbamarch89 it's a seated concert, even if you stand up you cant move from the chairs
cause it's full of 60/70 yr olds...
Bring back general admission.
They should be embarrassed
So good to hear that song live and Rob and the band nailed it.
I was olny able to hear bass.
And that's a good thing. There's never enough bass 😎
Wonder why JP dropped this one after 1982

They need to pick way easier songs to sing at this point. PLEASE remove THIS, Painkiller, etc.
Horrifying..
A little awkward but the reverb always annoying in the Richie -era
Yikes. It's as bad as I remember. Wtf happened?!
Love Priest but omg call it a day already.....
I heard Ozzys corpse might be hitting the road again 🤦♂️
It's a good thing you you don't gotta participate in this then👊🏴☠️
I think Ozzys done unfortunately he went down hill quick
Ya no puede cantar bien Rob está canción lastimosamente. Y encima no es lo mismo sin Tipton y KK.
