    I've been a Quicken user since its inception. The continuous improvements with each update make it an integral part of my morning routine. Thanks for enhancing Quicken; I'd be lost without it.

    Thank you Quicken for MAC, it took a little while but wow, what a leap beyond Windows. As an everything Windows hater - I love Quicken for Mac, it's revolutionized my financial life. Very much appreciated.

    What a great job these guys have done with Quicken for Mac over the past several years. They turned it from an also-ran to a real gem. I'm a retired software developer and I really appreciate the attention to detail and the robustness, and it has truly leapfrogged past the Windoze version IMO. Kudos to Eric and the development team.

      As a software developer, any idea why they can't shade the alternate rows in the registers?

      @@inner-erma Not at all. I think it would be a nice option to add. Tell 'em!

    Thanks so much for continuing to develop Quicken for Mac. I've been a subscriber for years and use it several times per week.

    I've been a Quickbooks user for 15+ years....but the cost was not justifiable for my small business....luckily the B&P product fills 90% of my needs.....BUT I'm a MAC user - and you have forced me to to use a Windows PC to get the invoicing support.....OUCH. So when will the MAC version be released with ALL the same features?

    The new version is a great leap forward, Eric. It is so intuitive, delivers quick answers, and makes complex calculations fast and simple. Like Eric I'm a Mac person but started with the PC version twenty years ago, so am a loyal and now devoted Quicken fan. It does everything except, well, answer that age-old question, "Will I die before my money runs out?" No EasyAnswers for that!!

    Really looking forward to the possibility this will replace QB and SOON.
    Not sure why you would make it available before invoicing was added though....

    I just resubscribed again because you now have business and personal which I thought was discontinued. Please never change this. I really disliked other products and went back to Quicken. I wish the subscription wasn't so expensive but since half of it is tax deductible for me I won't complain too much.

    I have had Quicken for home and business for the past year and barely have it set up. I am 74 and rent two furnished bedrooms in my home to travel nurses. I am having a hard time getting any training on maximizing my use of it. Can you direct me to some resources that would be helpful for me? Thank you!

    Hope it will replace QB Pro for Mac (for Independent freelancers like myself). I have used many versions of QB for about 30 years, but will not upgrade to the subscription/cloud version. Like every other freelancer I have talked to that uses QB, we have no use for 85% of what it offers. Don't need any cloud or online banking connections or inventory or tax calculations (other than State Sales Tax tracking). Just need business invoicing, Lists, Check writing, Sales Tax calculating, Business Reports, etc. Even though I have purchased many versions of QB over the years (for OS compatibility), not one single new feature has been added the past 30 years that I use!

      I feel exactly the same way. I have loved QB Desktop for Mac. Before that I used QB Pro for Windows. QB always worked well for me. But I don't want any online version. I just want full manual control on my computer, with all the regular business functions I've had for years on QB Desktop. Clearly QB doesn't care what we customers think. Maybe Quicken Home & Business for Mac will provide the answer for us now.

    Does it have investment and Dividend info in a customizable Portfolio display. Q for Mac now is so lacking in all things Investment that Q for Windows had that I am thinking about living with my brokerage company aggregation ability and quitting Quicken. Tax calculator, reports, display options....all missing in Q for Mac. I have been a Quicken user for 20 years or more.

    If you can create a Mac quicken just like quicken 2007 for Mac, that would be the best. Even today’s Mac quicken is lacking so many of the great figures of 2007.

    I've been waiting waiting waiting for a Mac Home & Business Quicken for years. I've been using quicken since the early '90's, but since the introduction of the iphone, I've had to migrate away from quicken desktop. For years more, I ran it in Parallels, but the software advances in the mac ecosystem left me frustrated with such a crude approach. I tried to ram all my business accounts into Mac Quicken, but that didn't work well. I just gave up. Why is this so hard?

    Is the monthly subscription in addition to my subscription for Quicken Classic DeLuxe. I really only want a decent income statement compared to budget comparing all selected accounts and categories, including investments. This should be part of any Quicken version. Can I cancel if this does not meet my requirements?

    When will I EVER be able to see how much money is left in each category with correct rollover balances in the app????? It is so frustrating to not have the remaining balance at my finger tips. Always have to go on my Mac to see them and this does not help when I'm out and about. I have asked for this for years now!

    And yet it probably STILL doesn't support conversion of a Windows Quicken data file to Mac (several key investment transactions are not supported), which stops a lot of users from migrating to it. Sad.

    The user experience is soooo disappointing. What happened to the alternate line shading in the register? Green used to be nice, now its stark white ... no visual separation. 😝Not going to get a subscription until you clean up those registers. Granted, I'm not a programmer, but I can't imagine it'd be that hard. Am I missing something?

    Will I be able to import QuickBooks?

    • @mugs8306
      @mugs8306 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is the question I have too. I used to use Quicken almost 30 years ago, then upgraded to QuickBooks. However, Quickbooks is now forcing us to go to online, which I don't want. I like to do my own data inputting, etc. and want to keep my files on my computer, not on any cloud, and QuickBooks Desktop has always been perfect for me. They are now discontinuing the Desktop version I have, and are offering a subscription desktop version that now costs almost $1,000 per year. I took one look at that, and it was an immediate "not happening" for me. So I've been spending a lot of time lately trying to find another option. I want to have the software on my computer, and I want to have the option to have full manual control, and this looks like it might work. I just need to know if it will allow me to import my QB files. If I can do that, then I'm totally sold.

    I cannot find anywhere exactly what Q business mac program does, compared to the windows version or the Quicken classic for Mac. I can't even find if the pricey $11 a month is just cloud based or a downloaded program.
    I have been a quicken user since the very first version and when I switched to Mac I was disappointed in Quicken's support. I eventually switched Q Mac and just lived with the shortcomings compared to Windows version. I despise subscription based software, but we all have no choice. It would seem with this new December 2023 version that either A) the intro program is overpriced for lack of features and B) just how much is the price going to jump when Q starts upgrading the features.

    Without invoicing functionality, putting "Business" in the name seems kinda premature.

    • @mugs8306
      @mugs8306 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sadly I have to agree. We can do pretty much everything else in the personal versions. What we need is the invoicing features. That's the only reason to switch to a "business" version.
