Certainly an security when he start transforming. "If you kill me so fast, i can't show you my true form !" Btw, that's the same thing for the 3DS version.
The flip have a slightly better DPS with the Starlight DX+ (with those little damage when charging). Giant swing spam is better if you don't have the time for Hammer flip.

Were attack potions used in this speed run? I'm honestly very surprised you can defeat such a powerful boss this quickly. Congratulations.
5 Attack potions for hammer Kirby (the boss got more health if you use multiple controller)
Also I have another question. Does spamming Giant swing on the enemy actually deal more damage than Hammer flip fully charged?

That's not CPU, i play the four player at the same time.
(each beam mage with a Joy-Con and the hammer with a turbo controller)
