Seeing Alex at 205 and taking good shots from some big hitters lets me know he lost that last Izzy fight because of the weight cut. Bro has a decent weight cut at 205. You add another 20 lbs and there's no way that does not have a negative affect. He was even rocked in the first Izzy fight and nobody has rocked him at 205 and all are bigger hitters than Izzy. When he joined UFC , he dominated the most dangerous division till he was healthy (he started his mma career in 2007 joined ufc in 2008 and became the world champion at 2009, which sounds virtually impossible) and even alex managed to learn it relatively quick.

He used Judo and Trips becouse in Judo if your opponent is obviously a bigger guy, he may have more strenght and power but he dosent have more balance, movement and coordination than you (which are factors that will trigger a takedown in Judo). That means you can use Sambo and Judo to set up Freestyle Wrestling or chain wrestling situations. After strike faints and trips Jones went to chain wrestling, and when DC was frustrated cuz he cant just freestyle wrestle and gnp Jones he got headkick in the head. Same thing Fedor did to be 10 years undefeated against most roided animals on planet.
