    Ive recently purchased 6 of them and absolutely love them! They are of beautiful quality and great style. I am very happy to have purchased these from the remaining factory who produce the original kufiyah from its founder Mr Hirwabi and glad that i could help their business in some way. It touches my heart to know what they truly represent - solidarity to the people of Palestine who have faced so much adversity, heartache and struggle. Its a symbol of peace towards men and a longing for their human rights be respected and valued. I wish for peace amongst all, brother and sisterhood and ultimately love and respect ♥️

    For anyone wanting to get a genuine Keffiyeh, amnesty international is a distributer of them from this very factory. The quality is fantastic and you have the satisfaction of knowing that the proceeds go to a worthy cause, I hadn't seen this until after I got mine and its so sad to see this happening.

    Whether you get it for the practical use or the politics, a kuffiya is a valuable piece of clothing to have (for the heat, for the cold, etc.). I bought mine from madeinpalestine.de (as a German of Jewish-Israeli background) because this man's business is struggling and I always support small owned businesses, regardless of this man's nations politics towards mine. The quality is absolutely amazing, truly impeccable. He is a man, doing what he loves, and he should be allowed to do so, and not suffer because of the Chinese knockoffs that ruin business. Put your politics aside and start supporting humanity.

    By the way, i think part of the name keffiyeh makes it a little more difficult to find when it is called shemagh mostly in stores and online. I think many people would be interested in buying them since they are of better quality, its just that they can't find them and therefore end up with Chinese copies because most people call them shemagh on internet, youtube etc. (at least in Europe and US)

    the way things work tho is you have to change with the times, his business could be booming if he put it on the internet. i know its an old tradition but i dont think there would be anything wrong with using the modern business plan to reach customers all over the world. im sure many muslims and non muslims would like to buy a keffiyeh made in its birth place. Someone get this man a computer!!

    I bought my four shemaghs DIRECTLY from this factory. Do you want to know how much I paid? Not more then 80 DOLLARS. That is just a little little bit more then this horrible chinese stuff. It is genuine, no "synthetic" smell, no ink when I was it. You can almost "feel" the love they had when the made my shemagh. You can feel the quality and their tradition.

We also fund two disabled children for medical costs, poor families, medical needs and when we visit twice yearly there is always something we find to help fund or sponsor.

    Some of us old geezers have a hard time understanding the importance of having a strong internet presence for our business. Perhaps a computer savvy college kid would be of help in designing a good web page so that customers across the globe can order directly from him. He might have to give up using ledgers and learn how to use software to keep book. Plus he would have to make a lot of changes to track inventory and shipping. That's asking a lot for an older person to adapt to.I wish him well.

I'm taking a rather short class there in English, No puedo hablar español tan bueno que un hablante nativo, pero puedo hablar la idioma mejor que mis compañeros.
    It's more of a history class, and I'm hoping to see some of the sites of the Spanish Civil War, particularly the republican landmarks.

    @Yitzchak2492 that's kind of NOT true at all. I've actually already purchased one already. Palestineonlinestore com is a site which buys from this factory (or at least claims to). I wear mine as a white male due to the virus. Yes, those from Palestinian may find it offensive that I'm wearing one. However, I wear mine because it does NOT belong to the Palestinian people as a symbol of resistance. In fact, the desert scarf was around LONG before Mohammed even discovered Islam. So it also does not belong to Muslims either. It's just a scarf. Yes, you can get certain patterns on it that are more associated with certain tribes from Arabic countries; in fact, most tribes wore colored ones. Whereas in places like Israel, they wear traditional black and white.
    So if a Palestinianian wanted to start something with me for wearing it, I'd happily educate them. Which of course, they wouldn't agree, and I don't care.

    • @missmokkori5558
      @missmokkori5558 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Didn’t you know that being Muslim is not a nationality ? A Muslim can have any possible nationality and Palestinians are not exclusively Muslims, fyi (btw, prophet Muhammad PBUH didn’t discover Islam, I’d use another word for that). It seems like you desperately want to start a fight/argument with some Palestinian. Dude, 99% of the time, Palestinians won’t slam you for wearing a keffiyeh. At worst they’d just want you to know what it’s about and to purchase one made either by Hirbawi or a Palestinian-owned business. Also, Arabic is a language whereas people from Arabia are Arabs who happen to come from ARAB countries. You’re welcome.

    • @JDGage
      @JDGage 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@missmokkori5558 I’m not looking for a fight, but if I was it would be easy to win. I don’t ware the traditional black and white one because I don’t support Palestinian, I support Israel. The Bible says to do so in fact which a lot of far left Christians are deluded to. I wear a cheap Chinese one for camping, and having it as a tool, not a fashion accessory. That being said I do own a nice one from Palestinian that is practical during cold months.
      That being said I don’t have issues with Islamic people wearing one, but I run into college liberals who think they’re educating me like you think you are. But you’re really not lol. It’s just a fucking piece of cloth.

    I hope all the commenters below are happy with the product they've bought, but not me. Recently I've received my kufiya, bought from kufiya.org / madeinpalestine.de . I've expected it to be 100% cotton as advertised.
    Burn tests revealed that all the threads are synthetic. I'm deeply disappointed and can't recommend it to anyone. You try to support a small factory and receive garbage, never again. Of course no response in email or on there site on Facebook. Good luck trying to leave a bad review on their site, they have to "authorize" it first (HA HA). This is a sure way to loose customers trust and sympathy for a cause. I got exited that I could help them , now i fell betrayed. It's still better to by a cotton scarf made in China for 8$ then an "authentic" and"Original Hirbawi" made of polyester for 30$. 😡
