  • Milne-Edwards sifakas, Ranomafana, Madagascar - 9th October 2005
    Several of these large lemurs were seen together, near the viewpoint. There was also a group of greater dwarf lemurs nearby and there seemed to be some friction between the two species despite the size difference. Early in this video, one of the dwarf lemurs runs past a sifaka and the sifaka pushes it off its branch. One of the sifakas is wearing a radio collar for monitoring purposes.

    thank you for sharing! Nice video! it seems that Milne-Edwards sifaka is bigger than the dancing sifaka? what about compare to the size of indri?

      Indri is the largest lemur, but some of the sifakas are almost as large.
