I think this is a good comparison because all the stats are almost the same, if you want to compare you really have to have the same stats, most don't realize that
As a C3 Hu Tao with 57.1% C.rate and 284.1% C.Dmg, Shimenawa is the best one for me (deals 140-160k per charged attack with Yelan's burst). No survivability issues too because of my glass cannon lineup (Hu Tao, Yelan, Xiangling, Xinqui). My problem is that I can't do those damage per screenshot numbers on her burst anymore. And also this is the best artifact comparison I have ever found because the substats have little to no difference unlike the other ones that I have found. Great job on your videos and definitely earn my subscribe.
for c0 and no homa...i think crimson witch is best....cuz you shimenawa help charged attacks...and to fully utilize her charged attack you need c1...thats why im farming for cw
So I have a C0 Hu Tao ( 63% CR ,240% CD, and 100 EM) on a crimson witch set. BUT I just got C1 a few days ago, so is it worth switch to Shimenawas now? (Assuming I can get similar stats + I have Yelan and Xingqui)

Correction... To proc gilded passive U don't exactly need 3 different elemental type, the elements should just be different from hutao, so no pyro in party other than hutao if u want more em.... U can run double hydro/geo without any issues
@@picapica8266hu tao's base attack is really low compared to normal characters, that's bcs she coverts her hp into atk while her skill is active. Atk% is still useful, but less than hp%, EM and critical stats
I used to equip my hutao with shimenawa, but I really hate that I cannot use her burst so now I use crimson instead. The stats are slightly worse for now, but it makes me happy to use hutao again.
Was it the case in the abyss with Shimenawa ? I am wondering if neutral orbs dropped by the mobs are sufficient if I want to play Shimenawa instead of CW
if you just used her burst and use her skill without having 15 energy you are going to lost a lot of dmg, also because of shimenawa you may not have her burst when you need to heal up, thats why i prefere crimson set
Always used Shimenawa on my Hu Tao. I thought that it's just me being weirdo with artifacts cuz I saw other Hu Taos with Crimson or Crimson/Glad, but seeing this video made me feel relieved. Thank you! ^_^
all shime user who struggles to get er for burst, use 3 favonious and 70 crit rate on supports. i guarantee yall that u will get ur burst every 2 rotation like crimson and 15 energy to trigger shime buff right after burst in next rotation.
I usted to have a shimenawa set because I was farming the other set and got some nice pieces but now that I started to farm glided dreams I have almost the same results and stats than before and I got to Say that using her burst is really fun. I think this set is worth it
I've built hu tao with both shime and gilded, but by far gilded is better at least for me, would've preferred if my gilded (63/263) set didn't roll to EM too much and rolls to those hp subs to balance since my hu tao has 180EM pre gilded so its 330EM after gilded procs. while my Shimenawa (77/240) rolled to HP too much. It's really just availability for you. If you farmed Emblem too much, which we can almost all agree we did, use shime, but if you farmed gilded and deepwood for all the electro and dendro or maybe even pyro characters, use gilded. We are not going to talk about Crimson, those were for the OGs, that were Blood, Sweat, and tears in farming that very ungodly resin inefficient domain. Lol. Just a random Keqing main, so pls just correct me if im wrong in the replies. TY.
One of those OGs, I spent like 5-6months to get my hu tao to 60/250 cr/cd and 36k hp, farming cwof, and now I think that I might have some shime artifacts that are almost the same if not better, that I got by farming Emblems for raiden/xialing/beidou/yelan... And I farmed like only 3-4 months T-T On the other hand, I have a perfect lava walkers nuke build for my tartaglia
Every since crimson is available on strongbox players don't need to go in that cursed domain. I never farmed in that domain and build my hutao just by throwing around 100 trash artifacts in strongbox and got really good pieces out of it so it's not a big deal now. Thanks to hoyo
Well, it really depends on the priorities of the player. I use my trash artifacts to reroll to Wanderer's Troupe for ganyu and yanfei. And I don't really have to waste resources now for a third build for Hu Tao since I already have the easier to come by Gilded and Shime builds. Maybe if I get bored of using gilded I might. Still tho, Strongbox very pog.
My off piece hp sands is of gilded which is my most broken artifact since it has 46cv. I just need to slap 3 more gilded pieces to try and compare the damage between these 2 sets
So you're telling me that I wasted 4 months farming crimson witch, just for it to be outclassed by shimenawa (wich would have been way more convinient to get)
With shimenawa you don't have access to the panic button And tbh, it's only better in damage if you know how to cancel her animation on the right time (needs c1 for dash cancel)
okay then hu tao's best artifacts are shimenawa and crimison witch u can do each 2 pc set and then an extra artifact that gives pyro dmg bonus or physical dmg bonus

@@SeeNyuOG I use shime set on my Hu Tao, and while it feels strongrr with raw CA damage, I have problems bursting sometimes for the emergency heal. The comparison shows how overall, CW wins since burst uptime helps with her overall damage as well.
I am using shimenawa and already liking it my Norma attacks and E are on 7,8 lvl respectively ,and I use dragons Bane ....I hit 35k (vap rxn) every dash
Was trying to decide on the main stat of my sands. Looks like EM is better for Crimson Witch. But overall damage looks slightly more on Gilded Dreams with an HP sands. Makes me want to farm it for her but idk.
Wish this was also compared with staff of scarlet sands vs staff of homa since i was going to pull on the weapon banner when dehya comes out since its a win win either way
Thank you so much. This comparison verifies my decision to stop farming for Crimson although it's very good. I'm going to farm Shimenawa from now on and get better emblems for Raiden, Xingqiu, Yelan, Xiangling and probably Beidou and Sara too.
CA wise CW is comparable to Shimenawa and GD; burst wise with EM sands and Vape, it has the highest DMG output by a good margin, so you'll be fine if you have those prereqs in check :))
Crimson witch is well rounded so therefore more output benefits for dmg sure it does less by a little for regular dmg but the 50% pyro dmg boost of 2pc of crimson witch is what makes it better especially in vaporize reaction since it works in those to bc of four pc working with burgeon overload and all that stuff so I guess no more mistake of me being a doof and putting two pc pyro 2 pc hp percent 🎉
I think marrechause with furina is pretty busted. You can easily get high crit (I have 87:220 and my build isn't that good on dragon's bane) and the 2 piece buffs charged attack damage. The only problem is it relies on furina
are the healing same? examp: i put shimenawa on her and the burst healing around 3.300 idk if crit damage.. but if the healing same as 3 others artifact so? i choose shinemawa then for optimum resin... but, if you play almost 3 years maybe you already got plenty best artifact subs stats..
If you have EM buffers it gets weaker, have this on mind. If you use sucrose, albedo,an elegy yelan or a character with instructor set, the gilded will get diminishing returns. But overall is hutao's second best set with EM buffers and her best without them.
Crimson is definitely her best 4pc set but Shimenawa is more efficient to farm. Basically, just give up on her burst if you want to use Shimenawa, you wouldn't need it anyway lol.

Let's say I want to switch to a 4pc Crimson with identical stats, how much of a difference would it make? P.S - If anyone knows, you can give me a rough estimate in terms of percentage.
Nevermind I just got my answer lol. I was able to put together a 4pc Crimson Witch with similar stats. She had about 800hp and 10%crt dmg less which isn't a major difference. In the end, she was only dealing 500 more dmg with the 4pc Crimson than she was with the 2pc Wanderer and 2pc Crimson. So it's not much of a major difference. I won't need to try farming up to a full 4pc Crimson for her now. Phew!

shime is better cuz its resin efficient and strong box is a lie, i wasted thousands of artifacts and didnt get any decent crimson. for players who say u cant get ur burst back, just use a lil bit of brain, use 3 favonious weapons of 3 supports with 70 crit rate to trigger the passive of fav so that u get burst every 2 rotation like crimson and 15er every rotation after burst.
TL;DR: if you dont have zhongli, retracing bollide is the best since your shield is weak if you have zhongli, it will depend on your account: if you only use your hutao as a single target dps, use shimenawa if you already have crimson set or you havent unlocked sumeru yet, go for crimson if not, use gilded dream
If you don't have Zhongli, then don't use shields In double hydro, you get way more damage if you use a non-shielder unit Using shimenawa is a big risk because you can't use her burst, and it's only better in damage if you're a master of animation cancel (needs c1) You'll only farm gilded if you don't have a good crimson or shimenawa pieces
use whichever honestly. but i prefer crimson witch because shimenawa makes it hard to use hu tao's burst which can be annoying. if you need embelm or the atk 2pc from shimenawa for other characters, you can farm that domain and craft the unwanted pieces into crimson at the strongbox. thats what i did. sorry for the long response but i just wanted to be a bit detailed, lol
Hmmm, from what I see is they use fav sword on Xingqiu then proc it before switching to Hu Tao. Hu Tao then E > loses sore energy but regain some particles from favo's proc. 01:12

My hu tao has 55/249 cv and 208 em with em sands

I don’t think that’s exactly correct. The 50% bonus is 50% of the 15% 2pc bonus iirc

Her burst is too much of a valuble aspect of her kit that it just isn't worth using shimenawa for me

he used xingqiu's NA (xingqiu has favonius sword, i think, based on the visual effect) right beforehand as a battery :)

shime is better cuz its resin efficient and strong box is a lie, i wasted thousands of artifacts and didnt get any decent crimson. for players who say u cant get ur burst back, just use a lil bit of brain, use 3 favonious weapons of 3 supports with 70 crit rate to trigger the passive of fav so that u get burst every 2 rotation like crimson and 15er every rotation after burst.

TL;DR:
if you dont have zhongli, retracing bollide is the best since your shield is weak
if you have zhongli, it will depend on your account:
if you only use your hutao as a single target dps, use shimenawa
if you already have crimson set or you havent unlocked sumeru yet, go for crimson
if not, use gilded dream
Or just farm Gilded because it's more versatile, and dump the trash artifacts into the Crimson exchange box if necessary.

If you don't have Zhongli, then don't use shields
In double hydro, you get way more damage if you use a non-shielder unit
Using shimenawa is a big risk because you can't use her burst, and it's only better in damage if you're a master of animation cancel (needs c1)
You'll only farm gilded if you don't have a good crimson or shimenawa pieces

use whichever honestly. but i prefer crimson witch because shimenawa makes it hard to use hu tao's burst which can be annoying. if you need embelm or the atk 2pc from shimenawa for other characters, you can farm that domain and craft the unwanted pieces into crimson at the strongbox. thats what i did. sorry for the long response but i just wanted to be a bit detailed, lol

The part in burst comparison doesn't make any sense. You shouldn't be able to use burst after using E skill on shimenawa set.

@@blackpepper2610 Seems like the logical explaination since 4pc exile on Xingqiu doesn't refill energy that fast.
Can just emulate it by having a 2pc atk bonus only since the 4pc doesn't effect burst damage.
Hmmm, from what I see is they use fav sword on Xingqiu then proc it before switching to Hu Tao. Hu Tao then E > loses sore energy but regain some particles from favo's proc. 01:12
