Beautiful baby. Our bichon is a rescue. He came from sad neglect and possible abuse. Poor guy was once covered in dread locks and just left outside to fend for himself. He is now living a very happy, safe, spoiled life indoors.Goes on 2 miles walks everyday with us. We clean his paws after the walk. We love him so much. However, feeding time is always a struggle. He doesn't like dog food. I tried making home made dog food. I believe it is because of his past. He is use to "scavenging for scraps"...from his past..so far I know he loves boiled chicken and grilled chicken...he wont eat peas or carrots. He wont eat out of a bowl. ...We have tried raw diet (he didn't like it), expensive dog foods, science diet, poodle mix dry food, royal canine, blue mountain, pumpkin mixed in with dog food...canned dog food....it is frustrating, so we stick to boiled chicken, grilled chicken..he loves cheese (I know he should not eat that but he loves dairy?!?!). We give him small amounts of goat cheese. He loves it. Everyday he loves to eat a probiotic, a multivitamin, and a zesty paw allergen supplement. He thinks they are treats!!! lol so that makes that easier. He only drinks distilled water. He struggles with tear stains. I comb him every day and sing to him. . I wash his face with wipes. I've tried so many products. He goes to a groomer regularly. She tries to get the tear stains gone. Maybe we will try it. Even though he had a difficult past life, is a picky eater, struggles with tear stains, he is my baby and I love him. I will now always keep him safe and healthy. I will always keep trying and giving him the best life he can have. We will try Eye Vita .
Hi lizzie, your story sound exactly like mine, apart from our beautiful boy Rodney’s home wasn’t so bad before we had him. He is 7 months old now and does have slight pink tear staining, although not as bad as some I’ve seen. I do everything you do, I was told it’s something in their food that causes it. I’m at a loss so far, I just clean and brush them as much as I can ❤
Thanks so much for your video. I just ordered mine online to be shipped to Florida USA. I have a 14 week old maltipoo puppy and already I can see that tearing and crusting are going to be a problem. So many videos have complicated, 10 step processes using 15 different products. Your suggestion for raw food and the simple Eye Vita is so much better. Thanks again!

On top of what was done in video, we actually did allergy test couple months ago on our baby and found out he has a major allergy to beef!! We eliminated all the products he is allergic to and it helped alot!! I normally blend goat milk with berries and celery to give as treats!! ❤️
Hi we are still using Eye Vita at maintenance dose now which is twice a week! At maintenance dose the little bottle last so long! We havent stopped using it since we started as we don’t want to see those red tears again! And it’s got Lutein and vitamins which is good supplement to give anyways! ☺️❤️

@@logandpoodle9750 I know how frustrating it is to trying to remove tear stains from your dog! Som also had pretty bad tear stains when he was younger and we tried so many different products!! Before starting this product I spoke with the vet I work with and he said all the ingredients are safe! They are not antibiotics but mostly vitamins and antioxidants. The company actually claims that used in long run, it will prevent cataracts in older pets! I think maybe it's better to wait until Logan finishes teething? I learned that sometime teething in puppies cause bad tears! I am not so sure how young of a puppy can use this product so maybe you should consult this with the company directly! I started using this product on Som when he was around 8 months of age when he got all the adult teeth in!

I will give more often when I notice him getting little more tear than usual! The little comb is from amazon! If you search tear stain comb there is actually multiple products that pops up! ❤️

@SOM-thing Special - I finally received this last week. The tear stains are fading. The fur around the eyes are turning light pink. And when my fiance comb the fur, the stains are dried out and were able to comb them out. Its only been almost 1 week. So I will be following your instructions. Next week we will only give her twice per week. She actually really likes the taste of the drops. Maybe its sweet. Its very sticky. She gets so excited when we are about to give it to her. We can actually see her cuteness more now. I wish I can show you my baby girl's picture.

She told us that Big Country Raw, we have to add vitamins and supplements to be a complete meal. I forgot the name brand that was recommended to us. I wasn’t sure which pet food store to find Big Country Raw. Oh well. Maybe next time we visit.

Any excessive drooling can cause staining around mouth! I’ve learned that giving filtered water is helpful with both tear and staining around mouth! ☺️❤️

@@helen-marie3562 Its not my fault either - but I am starting to dislike my dog as it looks horrible. If I can't get a cure I might have put it down or given away (though that would be hard) and then get a dig without these issues.
@@techknow9237 trust me people with tear stained dogs couldn't stand it either. I have a white Maltipoo who is heavily stained and sometimes I really get depressed because all my efforts only goes to vain. But please remember just like how it's not our fault it's not their fault either. We are only seeing the stain, but they are feeling it, always having the eye area wet and they don't even know why. They might feel uncomfortable but they don't even know how to express it. We got them for ourselves, knowing the responsibility that comes with it. So you have to be patient and work on it together. They don't think we are ugly no matter how miserable we look sometimes so we shouldn't do that to them either. Keep looking, you will find a solution soon.

We normally go to Ren’s pet depot! I always added vitmain & mineral supplement as well as Omega 3 for Som!

They might feel uncomfortable but they don't even know how to express it. We got them for ourselves, knowing the responsibility that comes with it. So you have to be patient and work on it together.
