Let me clarify, so there is nothing misconstrued on such a touchy subject - I do not use the N-word in my music for way over 15 years now, specifically because I realized that it offends many that are not familiar with how NYC is in this regard. In NYC it was very common to see all cultures using the word in a positive way like your homie, never in a racist fashion, that was just how street culture was in the 90’s and 2000’s in NYC - I understand in other parts of the country things might have been different. I am not defending the use of the N-word, I was explaining why I used it and how I was in many situations where the entire crowd was Black and had no issues with me using the N-word in my verses. I felt it was slang, and in Hiphop it has become a form of slang, Hiphop diction, where it is used as a term of endearment or noun, a person, never in a racist way. I never used it in a racist way ever!. I felt from a lyrical standpoint I had the right to use it because I am a street dude and I am real with the art and have nothing but respect for the culture plus growing up in The Projects in Brooklyn, it was common slang being used constantly. Me using it probably burnt a lot of bridges for me as a younger Necro in the music industry without me realizing it and I learned that as I got older and more mature, but don’t get it twisted, I never used the N-word in a racist way ever, so I do not think anyone should have an issue with me on this subject. If someone was using it in a racist way then you should be pissed. That being said, most communities have their own crews of different ethnicities that say the word amongst their peoples harmlessly. I understand it would make no sense to go into a Black hood and say the N-word with no regard, and I would not because I am about respect. I think all cultures that are street are the same way, you might say it when around your peoples and that’s it. Anyway, I did not want the title and description to misconstrue how I feel about this, as those are not my words, these are, RESPECTFULLY! - NECRO

And I’ll say I’m from the Midwest and what I have learned is that every area, hood or whatever in American has that same thing where certain non black people grew up saying it around people it was no problem. But in todays world with the internet it comes with alot and will cause problems. Times have changed but do what you gotta do. Its all love.

This is a critical part of life we are losing touch with in this day and age. If your respectful and handle your business, you can say what you want, when you want, to who you want. Why is it so hard for white people to not say one word? I don't see white people fight over using Asian terms, Latinos terms or Arab terms, they are just hellbent on saying one word that's in regards to us. Like I promise you this evil obsession white people have with Black people is just beyond insidious.
Black people don't try to normalize saying any derogatory terms from other races like we give ya'll that but when it comes to us, they just can't let that word go like they truly hate that they was told they was Superman they whole life that they shouldn't say that one word and that colonizer, slave master "I'm white and I do whatever I want" gene comes in. White people truly don't care about any other races culture except Black people culture. Don't give me anger, tell me where I'm lying. I'm truly fed up acting like we can coexist, we truly just can't.

Me and my hispanic friends grow up using the n word frequently because we were so influenced by underground hiphop and we didn't see a single problem with it. And it's rappers like Necro and Immortal Technique that solidified that it was ok for us to say it. Im pretty sure there's even a JMT song or two where Vinny Paz drops the n word. We weren't trying to be black, we were just mimicking the music that we were into at the time. At least at the time, early 2000's, the n word was more of a rap/ hiphop thing than it was just a black thing.

Well obviously theres some black people who are very sensitive about other races using the word and some who get it and dont give a fuck. Imo, the ones who get offended dont get it. But theres gray areas to this whole issue. I knew this one latino cat who would say it all the time but homie was fake so i cringed everytime he used it... Like no bro stopnsayin it... But then i knew this one white boy who was a cool real ass dude and would say it in a sarcastic way every once in a while but you could tell the context in which ue was using it. He wouldn't ever say the whole word sometimes, he'd jus he like waddup ma [...] and it would just be on some fly shit. If you cant differentiate between these subtle nuances and just think "non black saying the n word" and automatically in your head you get offended about it, youre just being a simpleton. So its a complex thing but really if youre just a bit intuitive about it, its really actually a very simple thing. You just gotta look at the whole overall vibe of the individual. Its mostly the wack af fake people who say it all the time that need to get checked. Im from MD and most of the black dudes i met growing up didnt give a fuck if the word was used. They only cared if the dude was a phony or not.

@@necrovideo For one, this is the lie a lot of non-black Americans in NYC have let fester for FAR too long--Herc did not create Hip Hop. He was simply a Jamaican kid who latched on to black American culture to assimilate to his new life in America. Stop lying. Black Americans will no longer let this lie stand. WYTs in your generation in previous generations probably pushed this lie because, not coincidentally, Herc was a first generation immigrant like a lot of WYTs in NYC at the time. If this is really Necro, I know youre from Canarsie, which is currently a Caribbean majority area. Thats why Black Moon put you on the roster--a large portion of their crew is Caribbean, particularly Buckshot himself is Caribbean. So, I will let your ignorance slide--to a degree--as youve been inundated with Caribbean liars--who are usually pathological liars. And, no, most classic Hip Hop songs used Funk and early Jazz. No, Jazz was not dominated by WYT musicians until its latter years. Thats why you cited the 70s jazz groups. Man, Jazz started in New Orleans with Buddy Bolden in the early 1900s. And, guess what? A majority of the Jazz sampled by Hip Hop was from black American musicians. No, I will not count their one WYT musician in the group as the sole representative. And for any of the WYT musicians Hip Hop sampled, lets not act like a lot of WYT musicians didnt emulate black musicians. These WYT musicians have mostly admitted to their influence being black Americans. So, do you give the egg more credit than the chicken? Lets boil Hip Hop sampling WYT musicians down to WYT musicians paying it forward, especially at the expense of the black musicians who mostly died penniless. While I love Rick Rubin, lets not act like he didnt emulate black musicians, too. You can hear Pumpkins influence in Ricks production. And lets not act like Larry Smith didnt influence Rick Rubin, too. Matter-of-factly, Larry Smith produced a bulk of Run DMCs first and second album, while Rick Rubin played a bigger role in producing LLs first album. See, youve been so inundated by Caribbeans, most of whom worship WYT people, that you dont even know real Hip Hop history. And, no, I am not pushing a racist agenda. See, this is another outgrowth of being inundated by Caribbeans, most of whom suffer from racial schizophrenia, wherein they will play the race card to their benefit. But, if black Americans stake claim to their achievements? Then, no, black Americans are racist and hateful. NO, black Americans are not racist and hateful. Theres no hate involved in citing the truth--the truth should never be dismissed as racism or hate. Thats very dangerous territory. See, I will give WYT people, Jewish or otherwise, their credit for their contributions but I will not let any minimal contributions trump black American achievement. But, honestly? After living in NYC for some time, I realize Caribbeans and the local WYTs play off each other, to make black Americans look racist for standing their ground. Its a real mind phuck. What are you talking about? Martial Arts was even racist towards the Asians who introduced the Martial Arts to America. They actually wanted Chuck Norris to beat Bruce Lee to prove WYT superiority. Even more, they discriminated against Asians, so much so, they influenced Asians in the Bay Area to discourage Bruce Lee from training black pupils. And dont let me get started on how the Martial Arts world discriminated against Billye Jackson. Moreover, Bruce Lees wife even admitted he studied black dancing and boxing, to perfect his form of Martial Arts. You really dont know shyt, huh? Not to go too far off track, but, this is a very sad problem in todays NYC. You people talk out of a true space of ignorance. You people still act like yall know every-phucking-thing but yall really dont know shyt. And, did you mention Golf? Do you not remember a WYT sportscaster asking Tiger if he wanted fried chicken for his Master Champion Dinner? So, he asked this question because theres no discrimination in Golf? Okay. That weed you smoked in the 90s mustve really rotted your brain. And, basketball? They didnt let black players play until the Texas Miners' all black team beat a number one team in a NCAA championship. And, no, you tried to equate your presence in Hip Hop to WYT jazz musicians, like their presence was significant enough to make the comparison. Or, like black Americans were hostile towards WYT musicians in Jazz like you perceived the hostility towards your presence in Hip Hop. Man, nobody cared if you were WYT. I thought you were semi-entertaining. And, honestly? Hip Hop already embraced many WYT artists by the time of your arrival. If anything, we took issue with you for using the phucking N Word repeatedly. Additionally, I truly believe Caribbeans gave you the impression to think it was fine and dandy for you to use the N Word. I remember you. I was in and out of NYC at the time. Side note: I remember how you bastardized LLs classic by infusing drug use into the chorus. But, honestly? I looked at your song as WYT Americans finally reckoned with their long-running drug problem. I remember people like your Uncle Howie. Im from Brownsville--youd see his type all the time. I grew up visiting Canarsie. I can remember my WYT friends with drug addicted relatives. So, guess what? I thought your song was entertaining for the purpose of social commentary. Also, I thought your song, finally, debunked the black addict stereotype. That said, stop living in your NYC (Caribbean) bubble, pick up a book, and stop spreading falsehoods.
