From downtown Como to Ghisallo, going through the most beautiful places on Lake Como: the square in Torno, the village of Nesso, Villa Melzi in Bellagio. The final ride on the epic climb at Sormano on the Wall, where Il Lombardia and Fausto Coppi wrote the history of cycling. Finally the well deserved rest with polenta and wine at Gaetan.
It's been a terrific experience. Two days of early mornings and shivering cold but the result has been a surprise for everyone. Probably these are not the roads where you can experience the landscape of Lake Como at its best, but they are the most epic for sure. Polenta and wine have not only been filmed, we finished both days laughing and discussing what happened during the day.
We hope the film is as good as how much we enjoyed filming it.
