Fully loaded with 2x each 56 core CPUs, stuffed full of RAM, looks like just what I need for my homelab's backup DHCP server!!! (I should be sent one free for home evaluation!) :)
Appreciate you posting this video but here’s some constructive criticism. This is an overview not a review. You did not test the performance of the server. I think it’d be more helpful for you to show some benchmarks or performance of the server. Honestly you are reading specs off the Dell website. I personally don’t think this is helpful just restating facts from dell. Again just trying to help!
Hi Justin, Thanks for the critique. We do hardware reviews or overviews if you would prefer to call it that. Yes, much of it is specs are off the site with some added information that seems to get somewhat buried in certain instances. I see you are a server guy, and I can appreciate that, but we sell hardware. IT Creations is a hardware distributor of all the major brands and we have legacy hardware and components. We are not a cloud service or testing center. I'm kind of surprised we get as many of these videos out as we do before the unit gets sold and I have nothing to work with. Yes! Has happened many times. We do post these videos to our landing pages to give the customer more information on a platform they may be interested in. This is a means to an end in that "REVIEW" works much better and is searched more often in Google than "Overview"-usually… Frankly, I don't have time nor the man-power to test these systems other than in the most rudimentary way, which would leave out a bunch of specific workloads anyways. I find that Serve The Home does a pretty good job of actually testing some server products but as they say in their tag line "Storage and Networking Reviews". With only two people, one of which is shooting the video and editing, actual performance reviews aren't going to happen. Thank you for taking the time to comment and watching our videos!
great channel, informative!. business focus machine reviews are so rare. thanks

I like the way you think! I've been trying to talk my boss into that too, I think I'm wearing him down. Maybe in a few years… 😭😭
