It's amazing to me how some cops in DoJ can be very knowledgeable to the point they can recite the California penal code but then you get the "Oh it's unlocked that means I can enter". A DoJ attorney could easily argue a wrongful death as the police had no way of verifying that was him in the apartment. It could of been some random guy in his apartment who hears a ruckus, sees someone illegally entering his house. It's a shame buggs didn't say something like, "Break into my house? I'll teach you!". :p
