maybe a bad game, but that tune is really nice and relaxing
An Adlib version of Neil Sedaka's "Laughter in the Rain" that I put together. It's linked to in the video description.
No it is not. :(
@@chromasus9983 th-cam.com/video/qj7AFc7KaMM/w-d-xo.html
it's gone, can we get the midi ?
Okay, I honestly love this video, especially because the ridiculous upbeat music is just so goddamn catchy.
Busterdrag seriously, this music is on par with the peacefulness of like wii shop music or animal crossing
The music is clearly the most effort that went into the game lol
I LOVE your office. Makes me feel like I'm back in the early 90's and my dad had new and old 80's PC equipment and those huge CD boxes and floppy disk holders everywhere.
Thanks :)
Lazy Game Reviews your welcome!
My pleasure! Please keep digging up all this retro gold!
@@targuscinco Thanks Adam!
"This game is so bland it actually hurts my feelings."
-LGR
+touhouguyII ok I will hurt your feelings more!
Liberty Pactor
Bring it on!
I really need that in-game music in my life.
Totally lost it at your reaction in the end haha
that is a classy weasel
No matter how many times I watch this, it seems like this video is twice as long as it actually is.
I wish I could find that rocking game music, but sadly the only thing I find when looking up "Land of The Unicorn DOS music" is this review. Other than this review, Land of The Unicorn has not been documented to exist.
***** Nope, that's the opening music, which has a download link in the description, that's not the actually music from the game.
***** Don't worry about it dude. It's cool.
But yeah, I might be able to find something if I look up the MOD version. Heck, if all else fails, I shall get the game and put the music online myself!
@@q306005 Do you still have a link to this song? I don't see it in the description
I think this might be the laziest of the lazy game reviews.
The Sims 4 Newcrest review is a tribute to this lazy review.
Thank you, glad you're enjoying!
And yes, if I find any more abandoned places I am allowed to explore, I'll certainly show them here.
"ooh how I love the rainy days and the happy way I feel inside" ... awesome music
This is still one of my favorite videos because the intro is so god damned funny.
Not to mention the intro is literally half of the video.
Whenever I’m feeling sad or sick I always come back to this video. It makes me happy 😊
Bonus points for the instrumental of "Laughter in the Rain" in the opening. Reminds me of my elementary school spelling textbooks. The writers tried to make all the homework assignments mini games, but I still resented it. At least I wasn't mucking about with that awkward looking creature that looks like something you might not even want to shoot along the Oregon Trail lest it carry disease. I mean, little Suzie already has typhoid. We don't need anymore bad luck. XD Thanks for this.
I'm happy that I remember that this was the newest video, when I subscribed.
The more I watch your videos, the more I realize how truly hilarious you are. Love you man.
Is the Adlib song a rendition of Neil Sedaka's Laughter in the Rain? I can kind of tell it is from the file name, but I felt like asking anyway. lol
thepirategamerboy12 that's it. I'm sure it's this song! definitely heard it before somewhere
The beginning reminds me of the dream sequence from The Big Lebowski.
This game has the best OST in the history of the universe. You need to upload like an hour-long recording of it!
I loved that fantasy, fairy, unicorn stuff as a kid so I totally would have bought that box. My heart goes out to the children who had their hearts broken because of this game
Has Clint ever considered a career as a Mime?
Jeran Korak dude has youtube money, why would he preform on the street as a mime for pocket change? 👽
@@codybaker9683 not only TH-cam he has got Patreon as well land he had a day job a well. His view count is not as high as most of the other good quality video.
Thank you!
And yes, it's very likely there will be, although we don't have concrete plans yet.
dude, that song is hella funky
That Adlib song in the beginning makes me want to hear an Adlib remix of Welcome Back Kotter.
That was hilarious, very funny way to present the review. :p
Cracked me up when you called the troll "dick snot". The way you said it was great.
Thanks for all the great videos.
Ohhh, I hear laughter in the rain, walking hand in hand with the one I love. I love the Neil Sedaka cheesiness.
I watched it like five times in a row, because of great Adlib music & your facial expressions.
His reaction to when the game loads is great
Yeah, that will happen, no worries. Didn't get it until recently though so it was a bit late for this year!
Right now they're just kind of on the shelf. Used to be all sorts of order, but then chaos took over and has long since reigned.
2:03 That Unicorn has a serious case of Cuttlefish-face, all wiggling around and such.
I know you've just finished with your "Edutainment" Series, but I'd love to see you review the Dr. Brain series, and Secret Island of Dr. Quandary, provided you have them. Seems as if there's not a lot of folks out there who remember them, which is a shame.
I often like to fall asleep with the Edutainment Month playlist on shuffle, and the extended musical intro of this one is often louder than the other stuff so it LITERALLY HAUNTS MY DREAMS. Like my dreams shift around the song. It's interesting.
This is some of the funkiest DOS music I've ever heard.
It's a Tandy 1000 RL/HD, it's an 8086. There's a full review of it on my channel :)
Yes indeed, I have quite a few!
Adlib version of it, yes.
2021, still one of my favorite video game reviews of all time
Thank God the educational games and comps improved by the time I was old enough to use & play them. I really started using the computer in fourth grade, the era of the worst Windows outside Vista, Windows Millenium. Only good things were the screensavers. Anybody set it to 3D maze and make their parents sick? Psychedelic! I got all my computer skills screwing around with our old Gateway with a 40 minute demo of JAWS for Windows screen reading software. I'm visually impaired. Drove my mom mad! :)
That intro was the cutest thing I've ever seen
Found a little bit from everywhere: Amazon, thrift stores, flea markets, Craigslist, buying/trading with other collectors, donations, etc. This particular game I got from eBay, just by running across it randomly while looking for something else!
By far one of my most favourite videos of LGR's to this day.
The beginning of this is just priceless! Very funny stuff Clint!
The music here really goes with your "Lazy" theme ;)
I know this is old and Clint will never see this but this episode this one, I always come back to because I like the music and I like the episode.
I actually randomly happened upon the real song the first song in the video is based on while thrifting at DI a few months ago and this video immediately popped into my mind. This rendition is better, I will admit.
Same, i was just looking up some lounge music and then after listening for a minute or two i wondered why it sounded so familiar, and then suddenly the memory of this video just rushed back to me.
One review every weekend, and if I feel like doing more mid-week I might.
The music is kinda badass. It got my head nodding
This song and video made my sunday morning while drinking coffee. Cheers LGR
...one of the Unicorniest game ever!
Great film making. Thoroughly impressed with this one, Clint.
I'm so happy you put that song in the discription! Thank you :) Not gunna lie though, now im on a hunt for that other song lol.
Mate you bring me so much joy through your videos. Thanks so much!
Well it's the game room, so it's going to be full of games :)
..I copied a link to the adlib version of laughter in the rain.. awesome stuff Clint..
Still love the intro to this to this day. So hilarious! :D
love this channel. Funny as heck, and entertaining.
thank you for making time to make reviews. I really enjoy it.
When I saw the graphics, I was like "Oh my... A not artist drew those."
This game looks like it was made in Ms-Paint. I've seen badly done low budget games for the Amiga that looked better than this.
This game is like Revenge of the Sunfish version 0.5.
I realized that this game hasn't even been dumped or unless it is. And the fact that this is the only video that talks about this game
If I recall there's some irksome on-disk copy protection going on.
@@LGR Oh. And it still hasn't been cracked to this day?
@@LGR That would definitely explain it.
Congratulations on genuinely creeping me the fuck out. Well done!
Man that adlib music is flipping ace ! Sounds like something Ceephax Acid Crew would kick out if he found a whole bunch of FM Synths.
I actually found the music to be very relaxing.
A little Neil Sedaka never hurt anyone......"oh, I hear laughter in the rain!" Cool review....
Thumbs up for "Laughter in the Rain". :-)
"Land of the Unicorn" is an antonym for "fun".
Is that a Jazz The Jackrabbit plushie I saw in the background? Wow!
How tf did I miss this one?! His faces are amazing omg
This is my favourite review
I can't be the only one who pictures this is how Clint just walks around his house when no one's looking....
Watching this more than 5 years after it was released. Still awesome!
Absolute favorite episode.
The AdLib-Music at 03:30 reminds me of the Music from "Der Planer", a german business simulation game from Greenwood Entertainment.
Cool review though, as always.
The video is easily one of my favourites. I love the physical humour, it reminds me of Christmas clone LGR~
This video contains everything I love about LGR.
I was seriously hoping for something better. Like, the most magical game of all time.
Your intros never fail to make me laugh, A+ dude.
I just keep coming back to this video because of the music that plays until 2:00. I find it oddly cheerful.
I love your videos, so much! can you do more abandoned places videos? lol I love them :P
Loved this format, lol'd hard at the reaction over time.
Hey LGR, if it's ok with you, can you record and upload the upbeat adlib music from this game??? Thank you!
This is the video that wakes me up every night..
The creepy smile at the beginning, the dead eyes, more terrifying than and theft of an auto that is grand.
Well that much was obvious but I expect the camera to pan left and there be a couch made of games, to pan right and there be a counter made of games with a ..blender...made of games.
Either way awesome vid, thanks for making me laugh and spit my drink at your enthused look.
And it was on the shelf right next to Star Control 2, one of the best games of all time!
Great video as always! Are there going to be more plays with Pushinguproses? I really enjoyed those videos :)
Looking at your game collection reminds me of my mom's music collection and how some things are put together that are not quite like the others.
Just like I had found a copy of Right Said Fred's Up smack dab between a Testament and Pantera album.
Short but still epic. Thanks LGR.
I love your videos and your sense of humour man.
I am surprised all these floppy disks still work. Good.
Great video.
LGR looking good! That review was deep man.
The first half of this video is solid gold.
You're funny. And I like your game reviews. Thanks for doing what you do.
I think the silent part summed it up pretty nicely.
Hey Phreakindee, I love ur reviews man! Keep up the good work. Also, are u ever gonna review Duke Nukem megaton edition. Anyways, see ya :D
Where can I get that amazing music played during the start of the video?
It tickles my ears in a way few songs do.
Link's in the description.
+Lee Repa He wasn't there, and neither was Zelda. Lies...deciet...Lee Repa.
The original song is called Laughter in the Rain by Neil Sedaka.
The intro was pleasing.
Nah, no plans to review KQ8. Just happened to have the box out when recording :D
Honestly, I'd say go check out PushingUpRoses here on TH-cam, she'll likely get around to reviewing it and the other KQ games far before I ever do! Plus her other stuff is just rad anyway.
I want to speedrun this game. It's so simple and easy looking that it shouldn't take long, and I bet there's so little interest that just completing it would get me a world record.
your collection of retro games must be pretty valuable
