Great to see more real-world plumbing and how you deal with any issues, like that water in the pipe @ 14:15. Just found your channel having watched a lot of Plumberparts, Urban plumber and Loving plumbing, so enjoying catching up with your previous videos. Really appreciate the work that goes into these and your voiceovers and talk to camera help take them to the next level - 500K subscribers says it all! 👏
Glad you like it buddy, I’m trying to do at least one or 2 a week but I’m mainly doing it to get more comfortable in front of the camera! Appreciate the watch buddy
@@mmplumber You're welcome and for what it's worth, I reckon you come across just fine on camera. The shorts are very good though and must be popular to have built such a following! Keep up the good work mate 👍.
HA. When you said 'old style' rads I LOL'd. When I converted my Chicago flat from really bad forced air to hydronic, I picked up 12 bog ol' cast iron rads from this place that salvages old rads and plumbing fixtures from around the city. They were all 80-100 years old. I did put some nice posh new ones in the bathroom and kitchen. Man, I miss that place. When the heat kicked on, I'd hear a click, and the boiler would fire up, and it was toasty in a matter of minutes. Nice work. I love those Wera Joker wrenches.
Nice, like it, job done. You have the next thing with PressFit, but soldering is my bread n butter. Like having a 2022 BMW 5 series, yet yearning for Dad's 1979-80 gold Ford Cortina 2.0 GL with alloys.
Another great video mate love your content! Just a question: why did you put the liquid ptfe tape on the trv and O ring after soldering? Was is because the heat would weaken it?
I use the liquid on valve tails first to give the longer drying time, the jointing compound on seals is the last thing purely habit I think 🤣 no real thinking about it to be honest! Thanks for watching bro!
Great job ❤🔥🔥🔥🔥 Bro can you please make us (the noobs😅) a video of how to take the measurements to make the cuts and junctions to fall right on the entrances and exits ✌️🙏
Lovely job il never slag you but left side of rad what’s wrong with 90 degree bend with kick less joints and flow restrictions.Sorry I see how restricted you are with height mu apologies.

Yeah I like them mate, although mine was clogged with sludge after the first 2 🤣🤣

Yeah I wanted to keep all the same as well so went for the 90 - 90 👊👊
Why does no-one else get that pesky dribble of water in the pipes that stops you soldering😢
I know right! After letting it out
And opening the valve it definitely helped
