I also have one that I’ve had just sitting in my desk and actually just pulled out and was wondering what to do with it. So this has been great inspiration. I have the square grid, but I was at the time trying to find a mini moleskin dot grid which I still haven’t found yet. Anyway, I would love to see the progress you’ve made from December, please?
I have a pocket dot grid journal and a mini Happy Planner...honestly, I love the pocket journals more because the dot grids sizes are the perfect size. Plus, its a perfect to go size.
But I really want to use the mini happy planner exclusively...i just can't let go of my tiny journal.

I use a mini-journal too! It fits in my purse. First, I number the pages so I can index (table of contents) things. Mostly, I put my to-do lists in the front. Starting backwards from the back is my 5 minute gratitude journal. Notes are where-ever they are, so I need that index. (Ideas for presents. Things I want to remember. My morning routine. Notes for talking to my doctor on my next visit. Notes from classes or videos. etc.)
Numbering the pages is so smart! Not all journals come with pre-numbered pages these days, unfortunately.
This is cool and I’m going to use a tiny notebook I have for a creative/to do list space. I love how you do it however you want to and it doesn’t have to be perfect!🌺
this is just what I needed. I've recently downsized my bullet journal and I really love the size but it's kinda challenging me because I have less space than I am used to
It’s a fun challenge because it forces you to only write what is important. You realize how little space you actually need😊
My first bullet journal back in 2017 was this one. I'm glad I upgraded to a larger one, I'm even considering a big 8''x8'' square one!

I use field notes and field notes sized notebooks (3.5 x5.5) for my bujo!!!

I've been using the pocket in a dot grid off and on for two years and I love it! :) Other times I use the normal size bujo.

Really inspired to be back in basic
You should try using the filofax pocket notebook using grid paper and monthly inserts. At least the pages are repositionable in the event you need to organize information. Also fits in a small crossbody and the notebook can be slimmed down so you carry the pages u need while on the go.
