#okochisanso is a villa in #kyoto , built in traditional #japanese #architecture over the course of 30 years and completed in the 1930's by renowned actor Okochi Denjiro, known for his roles in drama #movies in #japan . He loved this place so much that he opted to share it with the world and dedicate it to the public as a #park . This villa was and is highly regarded as an excellent example of traditional Japanese architectural design and boasts one of the best views of the #city .
Okochi Sanso is also famous for the #beautiful #garden , equipped with #moss - coated #trails up a foothill of Mt. Ogura that are lined with plants that bloom #gorgeous #color during every season, including Spring's cherry blossoms, very #vibrant greens in the Summer, a plentiful assortment of Autumn foliage hues and an elegant coating of snow in the Winter.
Your visit comes with a ticket voucher for a cup of green #tea and a treat in the #adorable #teahouse just before the #trail begins. They tend to close at 4:30PM.
