EasySMX ESM-9100 Wired Gaming Controller for PS3/Windows PC and also compatible Android phones and TV boxes is a great way of playing games without spending a lot of money. The game pad is very similar in look and feel to the Microsoft XBOX 360 controller but in my opinion is a nicer feeling controller.
It has a much nicer grip which is a rubberised type but not too rubbery if that makes sense? It has just enough to grip and feel comfortable, but not easily get dirty or sweaty.
Also the directional D pad has a nice smooth roll off and is very slightly of axis to make it easier to slide your thumb across it when using the analogue stick and d pad at the same time.
Overall very pleased and is a great replacement for any USB gamepad.

First of all thank you for making this great review.
I been looking for original xbox 360 controller on internet for my pc but almost most contollers that advertised as microsoft xbox 360 controller are fake ones with bad analog joysticks, triggers and build quality. After some research i find this controller and decided to get one and now I have this controller for 20 days and its works great so its definitely worth to get.

@@madxracing i been using it for almost 2 year when it comes to how good it is i can't make compare to ohters gamepads such as xbox or playstation becouse i never had them but this controller is great i did play lot of different games such skyrim, euro truck and ohter many games and worked without no problem plug it to pc it shows as xbox 360 controller and last thing is analog sticks are quite accurate and sensitive and triggers may not be good as newer xbox controllers
but still works great so i would recommend the controller.

Waiting for the wireless version of this to turn up! :) Excited to play a few driving games on PC, can't get on with a keyboard and mouse for those.
These are great for driving games especially ones that require skill like trackmania
Great video, Mike! Interesting that it is not XBOX compatible. I am not the target deomographic for this device, as I really only started gaming with a PC. I have no controller time, and when I try to use it, it becomes quite frustrating.
thanks Sky, I was never much of a console gamer and go into PC pretty quickly but almost always i would search out a Microsoft xbox controller to use with the PC and i now might be able to finally escape MS grip and save a few £££

I'm using a wireless version that I managed to get for a €26, £23, during an Amazon flash sale, model EasySMX ESM-9110. Same build quality with extra programmable buttons on the underside of the controller.

@@mikesunboxing It is quite possibly the best third party controller I've ever used.
I had tested quite a few wireless controllers before I got the ESM-9110 and they were in the same price range as the one you reviewed in the video and they were all bad they either stopped working after an hour or so or didn't work at all. I had initially avoided trying EasySMX controllers because the only ones they had in stock the time were the EasySMX KC-8236 with a really high gloss finish and the EasySMX ESM-9013 (blue or red trim versions) both of these use battery packs similar to the Xbox controllers and I wanted one with a rechargeable battery pack. So I decided to spend a little bit more and at first I was going to try the ESM-9101 which is the wireless version the one you reviewed in the video at the time they were selling it for €26 on Amazon but I saw the ESM-9110 in a flash sale so I got that instead. I actually got 2 one in November and another in December, also in a flash sale, of last year.
The only issues I've had:
1. It comes with no instructions on how to program the extra buttons I only found out how after reading a review on the EasySMX website by someone had purchased it from them. Right now there is a review on Amazon.co.uk that also explains how to reprogram the buttons.
2. Some older games, mostly games published by Sega, Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, Sonic etc. don't recognise it as an Xinput controller running XOutput in the background fixes ii.
3. I managed to break one of the plastic underside buttons so I opened up the controller and added a dab of hot glue to hold it in place and fixed it. I must say it broke after nearly 1000hrs of playtime.
great video, planning to buy this, does this controller is great quality will it last for a very long time with less wear?
It seems to be holding up well and no problems so far
I use a wireless Gamesir G3s controller and its awesome. Works with any bluetooth device.

i find it to feel great but it is a very subjective thing. I'll try and update the video if there are any issues with reliability going forward
How do the linear trigger go on racing games such as forza horizon 4, is the throttle/brake response accurate to the amount of trigger pressed ?
yes they are analogue triggers and seem to work well

Do these controller´s analogs work in all directions ? Because when I bought a fake x360 controller for pc it worked in just 8 directions so playing fifa was more difficult.

I've never been able to use a controller of that type. And the steering wheel and pedals I was going to buy is out of stock at Amazon. Just my luck. I just wish my keyboard has a couple analogue buttons. I think I could play my racing games with that.

Hi Mike. I looked at analogue keypads and keyboards. I didn't see any that I liked. I went ahead and bought a Xbox 360/PC controller for $29. It had the highest Amazon rating of 80% 5 stars, for what their worth.
