    Thanks for this Video! I would like to use Pmp Checkout still but somehow with your stripe gateway it only shows me Creditcard Option. Why not SEPA for example? I really need SEPA

    Thank you for this video.
    Could you please make a video on how to sell the entire website course (LMS website) on a membership plan (let's say, we have 2 subscriptions plan 1. Access to entire website courses for 6 months with a particular price and 2. Access to entire website courses for 12 months with a particular price) using Woocommerce Subscription and PMPro plugin. I can't find a video on this. It would be a great help !!! Thanks

    Hello, does this method works for recurring payment memberships?

    • @StrangerStudios
      @StrangerStudios  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Nicolas, in order to use this with recurring payments you will need to add the WooCommerce Subscriptions Add On to this method. Hope this helps.

    In addition to the video, there are two settings that I accidentally cut out of the video. The settings that you need to configure reside in WooCommerce itself.
    Head over to your WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy
    1) Deselect the Guest Checkout - Allow customers to place orders without an account option.
    2) Select Account Creation - Allow customers to create an account during checkout.
    These options will allow non-members to purchase a membership product and create an account right from the moment a successful checkout is processed. I apologize for not including this, feel free to comment below if you have any questions, the video will be updated sometime soon.

    You said to get around using Subscriptions you could raise the price and they can pay that amount for the year. Isn't this just change a monthly to yearly? I think I am missing something.

    • @StrangerStudios
      @StrangerStudios  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Infinia, nope you got it. So in order to prevent having to use Woo Subscriptions, you could raise the price and create an annual membership. This will mean you can collect all the funds upfront.
      We know that this is not always fitting to many membership sites and their customers but it is an option. Does that help?

    Great video thanks. I am curious, if I use the woo-commerce subscriptions plugin and want to offer a free trial, let's say 3 day free trial followed by $20 a month.
    I would need to create a membership level in PMP for FREE trial and assign that to a woo product.
    When the user check out, it will assign them to the member level (and give full access), but what happens if the user cancels the payment or it does not clear after the 3 day trial. Is there a way of it changing the member level on failed payments? It's all a bit confusing!

    • @StrangerStudios
      @StrangerStudios  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there,
      Thanks! You will need to get WooCommerce to set the trial. Since selling through WooCommerce it will be responsible for all the billing. Otherwise it can get a bit messy.

      @@StrangerStudios Thank you for the reply, I am using wooommerce for the trial, however I have this setting the member level to paid monthly membership via PMP, and the user cancels the subscription before the trial ends, do I need to manually change the members member level to expire after the 3 day trial? or does it automatically change back to a none member?

      @@StrangerStudios hey thank you for your answer but I have seen a few videos of PMpro and it doesn't look that they have this option.
      this is what I need for example lets say I have 50 DVDs movies and each monthly plan allows you to have a different number of DVDs shipped to you so first I need a subscription for the plans but also need to give the customer the option to choose each month what DVDs they want to send them.
      so i need to create the monthly plans and also the products (DVDs) that each time they can choose recording to the plan they are paying monthly

      @@orental5996 Thanks for that! In fact, we do have a code recipe that could potentially help with this. This code will allow you to add 'optional extras' at checkout where users can select something and once they do, the price will be changed accordingly.
