I'm using these safety tip videos to create a skill list which I use in my rides. Skills like: safety check tires (weekly) and brakes (daily), riding on trails shared with runners/bikes/golf carts, making gentle turns vs sharp turns. I'd also add learn your local bike laws for things like can you ride your bike in a crosswalk. In my state you must dismount in a pedestrian crosswalk.
Ouch! That rider at 7:04 clearly cut off the guy who took a spill, knocking into his front tire. He should not have attempted to pass with so little space before oncoming traffic. All good tips. Common sense isn’t as common as we’d like.
In urban areas whether on an ebike, motorcycle or car defensive driving is a must. One must be aware of the changing situations at all times and ride like you are invisible. If an ebike is going too fast, over 20 mph, it can make car drivers nervous trying to pass safely. Really if an ebike can go over 30 mph it is closer to being a motorcycle than a bicycle the reason bylaws concerning ebikes get enacted.

It's awesome you're creating your own skills list for your rides! Good idea to know the local laws as well!
Good information, thanks

So true!
It's an ongoing learning experience!
**** Stay on the side of caution!
Absolutely!!!
I'll take a nice leisurely ride out in the country instead of the crowded, noisy, smelly and very dangerous urban riding.
It’s always good to pick a riding environment you feel comfortable in... I'm all for country riding as well!
All stares are wanted.
Even when biting the dust?
All common sense tips...something you do with all new vehicles...
You’re right, they are common sense tips, but some people need to be reminded 😉
I ain't no dummy.
Good to hear!
