Saw this one in the theater and it blew me away. I had a fantastic time. When I heard it was getting panned by critics or fans or whoever, all I could think, was "Y'all're dumb."
Honestly the best Hulk movie there is & most comic accurate approach to the character n it's complexity, often goes over ppls heads. The CGI is good esp for 03, with the exception of some scenes. The saturation of Hulk in the 4k version is just off, it looks better on blu-ray. I love how the movie explains Hulk as being the physical manifestation of Bruce's struggle
the music in this film is amazing as well. The swell. i really do wish this film was given a lot more credit. still at my adult age have no idea why people hate it
Probably because people don't go into these films expecting Hulk to be a serious character and just want him to smash shit and be done. Also all the trivial creative editing and story choices that made the film look goofy. Suddenly the uglier 2008 Hulk is better. Even kid me thought he looked ugly and unconvincing for the time.
I prefer this one from 2003, I saw it in the cinema and you could feel how imposing that hulk was, with gestures and growls like a giant and presence, I like his rage and how well elaborated the atmosphere of the movie is with the entrance that It immerses you in the day-to-day work of scientists by his father and Bruce, but how his childhood with his family was tragic and sad (I could even say traumatic), just like Spiderman by Tobey Maguire, it has that essence that transmits many feelings to you. e makes you feel like you're part of the movie, love your reaction guys and greetings from perú
I can think of only a small handful of movies from the early 2000’s that have cgi that hold up this well anyways. Hard to believe people in 03 were actually complaining about that aspect.
I enjoy Ang Lee's Hulk. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But there's a lot to like. Bana and Connelly have good chemistry, the Hulk increasing size as he gets angrier, and I love the comic book transitions. Bringing Sam Elliot back to take over for William Hurt (RIP) would be a cool callback, especially if the MCU tries to do Thunderbolts down the line.
Whatever your opinion is on this film, I'm happy you guys are watching it. I wish more people were watching this hulk film. It's not perfect, but Eric Bana beats Mark Ruffalo's portrayal as Bruce/Hulk. This film may not have so much action, but it focuses on how Bruce suffered from trauma and abuse from his father and alot of his anger/fear is because of his father.
My fav hulk design. Always dug the visual and sound design of the 2003 hulk. Yes it could have been better but i appreciate what i got. There's something very human and at the same time inhuman about this version, which makes it even more eerie and disturbing. I especially love it when this hulk screams/roars/grunts because his voice is like a mix of a human a beast and a child (which is kinda what the hulk represents). The mark ruffalo version is fairly forgettable tbh. His cgi may look good but he is a rather generic green creature. It doesn't help how mcu hulk's reputation dwindled over the years as he became more of a joke.
Tomorrow is A Stranger Things 3 Marathon 4 episodes so stay tuned plus Star Wars Obi wan Friday sonic 2 there’s a lot more coming and thank you for the support
you appreciate things like the shots, the editing, the movie made like a comic, the music, while others were amused by how "stupid" it looked, good reaction
This hulk is a marvel movie and apart of the marvel universe due to the comics but it's not apart of the actual avengers since the 2008 hulk is. Pisses me off when people say this one isn't apart of marvel when it fucking is like people do you not see marvel on the screen lol Gosh Jeniffer Connelly made a good Betty wish she was in the 2008 version because that Betty was eh never liked her.
Exactly, if anything this Hulk is actually more comic accurate because Hulk was never meant to be an Avenger. Being part of Marvel doesn’t mean they gotta automatically be an avenger
This is just like the Super Mario movie people hate it but I'm the only one that can appreciate them. Super Mario Bros was actually legit well made, I couldn't have seen it done any other way. This version of Hulk is the best the movie really went with what the Hulk was about and memorable quotes in it too.
The only other movie that has the comic book effect is The Warriors. They were nomas advance as today on the cgi. The new Marvel movies are made up not in the comic books. Addams Warlock united the heroes against Thanos. Most people don't know that the first Marvel movie hero is Howard The Duck.
Alot of the complaints of the at the time was story and look of the movie. Personally I think the story was great because it's a personal battle between bruce banner and the hulk. It's a really dark Take of bruce and hulk
The mcu has the weakest version of the hulk because Mark Ruffalo doesn't want to be the real version of the character and the mcu wanted to create the trash team the avengers which the incredible hulk can kill all of them
This is the best Hulk movie ever done on this Marvel character and Marvel made a big mistake not pursuing this storyline. The acting in this movie is still heads and shoulders above anything that has been made in any Hulk movie and that cast was dynamite. Nick Nolte played a seriously deranged father as did Sam Eliot who played Gen. Ross, father of Betty. Eric Bana has nothing to be ashamed of when you factor in the early CGI that was used during that time which would have only gotten better over time. Mark Ruffalo is a woke MCU gender bending idiot who swallowed his pride but kept his ego.

I was 7 when this movie came out.
And it became a favorite!

The CG was done by Industrial Light and Magic
We all know the incredible hulk is the best
@user-qd3vl5ho4e it's good, I like 03 better though
@@nito-i5v boring ass film even norton hated it

I love this film man

Yeah it has all the elements that the Incredible Hulk lacked
CGI shouldnt matter for any movie. Just enjoy the adventure for a group of people work that we couldn't do. This my favorite hulk

Yeah, plus I never cared for William Hurt, anyway...which makes me mad, because he chooses roles I really want to see.
Yeah tbh I actually prefer this to Incredible Hulk
Love this hulk along with Edward Norton’s hulk.
Eric Bana and Jennifer Connelly are my favorite Bruce and Betty combo.
22:26 David Banner is the Absorbing Man

I like this more than the later versions.
2008 and this one were my favs
Jennifer Connelly was in the rocketeer as Jenny and Jennifer Connelly was in Hulk 2003 Betty Ross
By far the best movie reaction cant wait to see more💯💯
Thank you 🙏🏽
Good thing there is someone in this world who reacts to the good version.

(At 23:38) he's still wearing an oxygen mask, if not a respirator, isn't he?
Doing 4 movies in a day is an awesome idea.🔥🔥 idk if you’re going to keep doing this or it’s a one time thing, but either way, I’m here for it.
Tomorrow is A Stranger Things 3 Marathon 4 episodes so stay tuned plus Star Wars Obi wan Friday sonic 2 there’s a lot more coming and thank you for the support
If we got this hulk with Tobey spiderman…
Imagine

I was 19 years old when this movie came out.
Hulk fan since 1987.
Nice reaction, My favorite Hulk movie.
(at 18:15) you want to know what's weird about this scene? The Hulk got soo big, he was in his underwear.
How can people not like this movie wtf?
The Best Hulk , my opinion
This is so awesome
I think this Hulk film is better than the 2008 one
Ang Lee is amazing
Just letting you guys know that The Incredible Hulk came out of 2008 not 2011

As soon as she did the head nod I knew who she was talking about then I was thinking the name as she said it lmfao.
I grew up with the Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno '70s The Incredible Hulk TV series.
(At 22:25) of ALL the people you pick back then to retconned this story, you just HAD to pick his father, his "abusive" father… to be Absorbing Man?
The Incredible Hulk was released in 2008, not 2011
If you like the comic book transitions you should check out Spawn. Much darker material but the same in that way.
I’ve read more spawn comics than anything
If you're going to view Pre-MCU Marvel flicks, please don't skip "The Punisher" (2004).
those were called cluster bombs

Best hulk best INTRO
This film was way ahead of it's time
People forget their are 100 different people in Bruce's head and the hulk hates Bruce
I somehow clicked on 8:25 and busted out laughing
And the old man next to Lou was creator Stan Lee, the man who created Marvel comics lol
Sweet
The mcu has the weakest version of the hulk because Mark Ruffalo doesn't want to be the real version of the character and the mcu wanted to create the trash team the avengers which the incredible hulk can kill all of them
He actually closes to 15ft tall and 2500 pounds
Jennifer Connelly has been married to Paul Bettany since 2003.
so, she got married to him as this film was coming out
Dzaaaaaamn
Betty Ross and the only person who he really loved
Not the mcu black widow crap
yeah
Exactly, MCU Hulk is nothing like Hulk is meant to be
2008 not 11. Same year as iron man. The 2003 one is not in the mcu
I loved the Power Rangers movie when it came out(despite it lacking, could've been written better and just better in general)
Btw how many times did this guy says damn 😅😅😅😅
A lot haha that’s my favorite react word 🤣🤣🤣
You should also react to the '70s The Incredible Hulk TV series(1977-1982).
Best tv show ever 🔥🔥🔥💯💯👍👍
With David Banner
Bill Bixby.
Only thing good about this movie is that it shows how powerful the incredible hulk is his power strength and speed
And is more comic accurate
@@scottylewis8124 yup a bit more than the 2008 one

Watch Hulk Honest Trailer that is so funny. For the time the movie was OK. It just doesn't hold up unfortunately.
The Edward Norton The Incredible Hulk film came out on June 13, 2008.
please react to this movie called little man and first Sunday
This movie got all over of the characters right but the hulk was cartoonish
Stan Lee the creator of marvel was walking next to Lou Ferigno lol
It was 2008 the incredible hulk
Not 2011
Eric Bana was to big to be Bruce banner everyone knows Bruce is skinny Edward Norton is the best version of the character
