- Playing big drum fills on a small Kit. Joey Jordison - Slipknot 'People = Shit'
In this live clip he’s playing the fill slightly different to the album, using more toms towards the end. I'm playing along to the album which ends with mostly snare and some toms.

CLEAN AF, very nice man!!
Good shit dude, awesome drumming!
Thanks!
Used this video as a reference point for practicing, it's great!
@@Afunic515 awesome! What kind of stuff are you working on?
@@acedrum i mainly play disasterpiece and people=shit, some s-t and vol.3 as well!
Sound quality is dope man but ur camera isnt picking up how quick ur hands r bro this is way more impressive than it looks
Yeah I probably should get some better lighting!
@acedrum its all about shutter speed. The higher the more frames basically making it look smoother. But youll might need better lighting cause messing with any settings on cameras like shutter speed or aperture is opening and closing the lens and exposing for a certain time. Which lets more or less light in. More shutter=less exposure
@@NECRODOOMFX I normally have my GoPro set to 60fps, it probably got converted down when I dumped it in my video editing software. To be honest I have so little time to make videos I just smash them out without too much thought!
@@acedrum No honestly same ive dont that in my software too. And YESSS I make it where I try do as little work possible. Keep my camera on the same settings in the same spot. I use the Yamaha EAD10 which is easy to record. I always thought about getting a couple go pros for different shots maybe. Which one do you use?
@@NECRODOOMFX yeah it can take ages! I have an EAD10 too, but love having the full mic setup (which also takes way longer haha)
Very much on point!!
Cheers!
Fuckiing amazing bro
Thank you!
Holy shit dude awesome!

How long you been playing
@@someone7068 nearly 40 years!
@acedrum I see you also play guitar did you practice them at the same time,I primarily play guitar and was considering picking up drums was just curious if you think it's overly ambitious to try and practice numerous at the same time or not
@@someone7068 I started with guitar lessons when I was a kid then switched to drums. I’ve always had at least one guitar since then though for writing and I also enjoy playing. I also played bass in a band about 20 years ago. I spent a bit of time over the past few years doing some lessons and I do pick it up fairly regularly. It depends how much time you have I guess!
