This is exactly how i think a good test should be done .Thank you. It really shows you how to see real differences when the coil sizes are close enough to each target and different detector.Other videos dont show good technique like you guys have as well as the variable equipment and targets sizes ..High applause for your video
5000 Special?, but what timing, if it was in Sharp together with Deep, you would have the deepest practical setting you could use, get an SD 2200d on those big targets, it will most likely beat the 7, i tested the stock dd coil on just the top part of a coke can buried in the side of an old timers hole in Victoria and got it easily at 4ft, i have a 5 and an SD2200d. These tests should be done with the deepest possible settings on each machine, this will tell you which is deepest, but what we did learn from this is that the 6 is a flyshitter mostly.
Good stuff, nice to know that the results in WA dirt mirror my testing. 17x13" Zsearch in General is just awesome on the good targets, and still very sensitive to the smalls. And the 5000 is hanging right in with the Zed except on the two smallest targets. Love that 17x13 Evo.
@@jeffries1232 You mean with the 12" Evo? Possibly, but Enhance doesn't always provide more depth on large targets. I have experienced many instances where Fine Gold can go deeper. Too many variables at play. Also depends on the coils, some will play better with certain timings - also the coil switch position can make a difference. Normal timing with a very low Gain I'd be more confident in.
@@diggingwithphasetech I'll keep that in mind .Normal timing with low gain. In fact today i am heading out and ill try that in my new spot i forgot to mention i was talking about the 17 inch elliptical in enhance on the 5000 in my previous query cheers
On the 5k, special is not a timing, it’s a selection on the end cap, which of the special did you choose in the menu system? Telling us special tells us nothing, other than this huge brain fart, this was a great video. Oh, and learn to balance your audio, we had to crank it up to hear your mumbling then the music would kick in an blast us out of the bloody room.
That's why the 7 is a beast, the new 17 coil has many use's as does the std Z coil. Add a SP01 booster and good headphones (which I have) and ya have a deadly combination. Good test thanks will now consider the new NF17
Well, I'm late to the show and must say that I'm still impressed with my 5000, and it's paid for, so that's a little bonus as well. It's definitely more cumbersome than the sleek new all-in-one models, and it is frustrating a hell to keep digging and getting up, and digging and getting up with all that crap i'm wearing... augh! 😵💫😳😬🤬 BUT IT'S PAID FOR ITS SELF A DOZEN TIMES, and it appears of dammed near as good as the 7000. 🤔 From the comments I would bet if I knew joe to use it better, and actually used it more, I could probably give that fancy 7000 a good run for its money! 💁👍 Thank you for another excellent video.
@@bennyprospector2620 Yes i definitely realise that Normal is highly reactive to high iron soil - ive dug a couple quite deep false targets learning this but if you are over a know bit of metal it will be louder than ground noise. Bit different if you had to dig as i go to difficult now to check after digging down a bit - if there's a target should improve. If not fill it back up.

Thank you Benny for such a thorough test. Nice to see my 5000 still has a job to do. would be nice to see what the gpx 19 inch coil could do.
If 17" pick up the 19" pick up too I reckon
Thank you very much for this professional detector comparison, it is the most honest most realistic metal detector comparison on youtube 🙏🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
Hi Benny thanks for the great comparison and it has confirmed why i felt I was walking over deep targets with my 6k.

Hi Benny
Great from Indonesia
Thanks for your videos
Great video Benny and excellent display of skills. Love all your other vids too. A master craftsmen at it.
Excellent, thankyou. I have the zed and the 6k. The zed is my go to. Also have the 3 coils you tested on the zed. The 12" is my favorite.
Hi Benny, looks like the 7000 is still king. The 5000 not too bad,and the 6000 you are walking over big gold at depth. Cheers Greg
a very good video on depth test well done
Excellent test probably one of the best I have seen

The z is top dog thats for sure,,,well done benny,,,,,,thx for sharing my friend
Which of the three detectors is best for gold nuggets
Gpx5000 special timing ??
Would be nice to see what the Garrett Axiom can do!

I dare say it will be equal to the 5000, although it will depend to a degree on what sort of coils will be available with it.
GPX 5000 Special Timings in factory preset mode is in FINE GOLD.

Что это SPO1?
耶! 这个对比测试太专业了吧,也很全面! 老大就是不一样!!
👍👍
What is a good dish for the GPX 5000 device to search for burials?💰
Subscribed (really good comparison)
Detector Jackpot! 💥⛏️💍💰 Keep it up! 💪

Boa tarde, qual é a marca da bobina ideal pro gpx5000? Quero comparar um, mas não sei que marca de bobina compro.
Wow . The 7000 is a beast in general difficult
Shhhh Don't tell anyone 😂👌👌

Thanks for the video awesome to see 👌 I have been meaning to do some tests but get to a gold field and bam I'm after big gold again 😂
Would everyone agree that the 6000 was the best on fine gold?
I cannot believe how useless the 6000 is good old 5000 holding its head high 😊
6000 is small targets king i reckon.
I noticed you only tested the 6000 in difficult which detects a lot shallower,
yes .All three machines were tested on difficult mode.Normal mode is not available in most high mineralized area
Good
7000 still the best
Great tests - love to have heard 7000 in Normal - would have screamed👍
Normal models will be difficult to swing in highly mineralized areas.
