I’ve worked in the pits for a guy for 5 years and that’s just what we do. You see someone scrambling you ask what they need and if you have one they get it. It’s a beautiful thing and people could learn a lot about life by working in the pits. I really miss it. You have some grudges but for the most part it’s a big family. Really a lot of fun.

Awesome content as usual. Sorry we couldn't stay for Sunday's races, but we did get into a campground in southern TN and set up before qualifying was over and was able to stream the rest of the day's events. We had missed seeing Jesse lose the steering and thanks for capturing it in your video. All I had seen prior was the HTF1 car parked on the wall. What a scare that must have been! Congrats on two top 10's for Jess (and Hard Charger!) and two top fives for Joseph. We will be back down you way in February and hope we can catch a race then. Thanks again for the great content!

Jesse has gotten lucky a couple times now he's felt something wrong with the car and has the smarts to stop it that makes a good driver into a great driver he can feel when there's a issue years of wrenchin right there buddy God bless Jesse and so glad to see how excited he is driving the big car lol can only hope they can get funds and start to run the 2 cars together more like that yes they need crew to do it but it's still fun
Great job to entire HTF Team/Family!!!! Loved seeing Joseph get up on the wheel and take the lead for about 25 laps!!! He held off Brandon Overton until lapped traffic caused a bunch of problems. That was EXTREMELY IMPRESSIVE!!!! You guys have come a long way in the last 2 years that I have been watching. You have gone from "hoping" to make the race to expecting to not only make the race, but to run up near the front. I am stoked for next year already!!! I love the new Longhorn. The camaraderie among racers is something I have always enjoyed seeing. They will lone you anything they have and work their butts off to get you on the track and then work their butt off to beat you. Shout out to Brandon Overton for the lone on the broken part.
Great show! Made my trip from Illinois worth it, even if I didn't get home Monday morning till 4:30 am. I'll do it again next year. Plus I'm a Chase Holland fan too!
Made it back from Gatlinburg just in time to catch the race. Thank God !! Was there on the back stretch in turn 3 at "the weather box" Lol AND OH MY GOODNESS WHAT A HECK OF A RACE !! Thanks to Overton for making it across country to be a part of Showcase. Appreciate that. What an effort for Joseph. AND, my goodness what an awesome race for Jesse. Good job !! Congrats to Payton Freeman on the big bucks too. Great job HTF.
This just shows how good of a driver Overton really is!!!! Joseph worked his way back up there with that little motor picking them off when he could. Great run!!!!
We always put a small hose clamp around the set screw and jam nut on our steering shafts. Vibrations make stuff loosen up and those steering shaft jam nuts are hardly ever checked. The hose clamp will help to prevent them from backing off.
Watching i said dang he hit the berm. But then he and Overton put on a clinic coming from the rear. I won one race from the rear in a 24 car field but it was in the bomber class. Won several in smaller field of cars when i moved up to IMCA Stock Cars. Great job guys. Showed you can not only run with the big names but are one.
I watched both nights and they knew Joseph was there with that Longhorn, and they knew Jesse was there too. Yall keep up the great work. Yall are earning respect with the big Dawgs and who knows where that could go in the future...... Keep it up and God bless

That Longhorn is one fine racecar. It just goes through the corners so smooth. Doesn't hurt that JJ drives the heck out of it. Plus the Draime showed out.

@@andrewgorniak6173 I am a huge follower of dlm racing all over he country the blue -grey had a much better field racing for 10k for 100 laps because it wasnt a trash track trust me I have heard of josh putnam and the rest and nothing against many of them but they are field fillers
Trash track I would like to see any track in the US have no ruff spots in the track after it has gotten a full day of rain on it so if there's such a track I will go to it to watch a race so don't say a track is Trash until you know why the track was ruff !!!!! So if you all have nothing good to say don't say anything at all !!!!!!!

The Draime engine definitely pulls the Longhorn better than the Dickens engine..Joseph looked like he was in “ole faithful “.. I was skeptical at first but Jesse drives the super better than in the 604 division…congratulations to HTF for putting on a really good show.. who said Joseph can’t run with the big dogs? He had Overton covered for most of the race, until the wall got in the way…Jonathan, I hope you get a Bluetooth set up for Christmas..it’d be nice to hear what your saying during the race..
I suspect, in a way, the SLM is easier to drive. Can use the throttle to steer. In a crate any driver error gets amplified by how stuck the car is due to no power.
@@gailtaylor1636 yes you’re right, 400 hp is decent in a street car like my C6 vette, but on a oval track you need a handling car to make up for the lack of power.. example: Joseph in “ ole faithful “… I went from a dirt super modified to a asphalt late model stock and couldn’t do squat with the thing, dirts for racing,asphalt for getting there…

Jesse is no was near ready to be in a super late model. Boys you have to check every bolt and screw before every race That little motor pulled every car down the straightaway.
Might be a thing that gets added to the maintenance list to get checked to make sure set screws are locked down but good job to the crew getting Jessie fixed up
With those holes in the center I can’t believe how fast Jojo was hoppin through there!!! Jessie needs to shave down to a Dale mustache to handle that engine🏁

Sure was till he hit the wall, which I couldn't tell exactly what happened from that incident on video. I did notice that he spun fast with no other cars that touched him which made me think that something broke or he hit a bad rut that had possibly formed during the race

The Draime engine definitely pulls the Longhorn better than the Dickens engine..Joseph looked like he was in “ole faithful “.. I was skeptical at first but Jesse drives the super better than in the 604 division…congratulations to HTF for putting on a really good show.. who said Joseph can’t run with the big dogs? He had Overton covered for most of the race, until the wall got in the way…Jonathan, I hope you get a Bluetooth set up for Christmas..it’d be nice to hear what your saying during the race..
I suspect, in a way, the SLM is easier to drive. Can use the throttle to steer. In a crate any driver error gets amplified by how stuck the car is due to no power.
@@gailtaylor1636 yes you’re right, 400 hp is decent in a street car like my C6 vette, but on a oval track you need a handling car to make up for the lack of power.. example: Joseph in “ ole faithful “… I went from a dirt super modified to a asphalt late model stock and couldn’t do squat with the thing, dirts for racing,asphalt for getting there…

Sure was till he hit the wall, which I couldn't tell exactly what happened from that incident on video. I did notice that he spun fast with no other cars that touched him which made me think that something broke or he hit a bad rut that had possibly formed during the race
