great video, I started with robinhood, then went to webull, so I'm used to simplicity, this is definitely more complex. but orders fill way easier on here from what I hear, super excited, got 2 trading days down so far, just struggled getting in and out of trades lol The automatic trend line drawing on the charts gets me every time, I try to click and drag to scroll, but then a line comes up, I'm too used to tradingview

@@shaunglendinning I have no idea to be honest, I gave up on IBKR because of it's complexity, I'd rather sacrifice a penny price difference by using WeBull, feeling comfortable in a trade knowing there is a simple keyboard shortcut to get all out, being able to easily look at charts and place limits, everything feels easier I probably didn't give IBKR enough time, but I'd rather not be in a situation where I feel uncomfortable being in a position

Great tutorial! Would suggest placing differnt condition orders for options trades. Setting a stop, trailing stop etc. I am always getting into trouble with those. Ex. If I have a position for 3 contracts and sell 1 contract once I reach my target of say 10%, then I want to put a stop loss on the remainder of the 2 contracts at break even, but then I sell 1 more contract once it reaches 20%. What happens to my stop loss which was for 2 contracts? Do I have to modify it to 1 contract or will it know I only have 1 left? And lets say I want to now move my Stop loss a little higher than my break even do I have to change the qty as well? These are things that sometimes need to be done quickly so any help you have would be great! Oh and maybe do a segment using the mobile app. Thanks!

Hello, I have a question about this platform - I set it up and I'm practicing learning the platform with the paper account. Often when I place an order it does not get filled - is the funded platform the same way...? (placed one yesterday and watched the bid/ask prices go up one side of my bid and down the other..........about 2 hours later the order filled - but the price was on its way down and...well I lost some paper money) I literally watched the price dance right by my bid - and I have seen this a few times now.........what causes this....? is it because its a paper account...? Also, I had a stop order set at 820, it filled at 815 - price fell from like 900, right by my stop order (smci), just wondering what causes this, I;m glad it was paper - otherwise it was a 250 in the L column thanks - great video

Does anyone happen to know if there's a way to check transaction history in I.B. paper trading, the statement page only seems to show activity in the live account? Thanks
I hate how some brokers show me the call and put chain at the same time with no way of modifying that. If I want to buy or sell puts just show me the puts. If I want to sell covered calls or sell naked calls then show me the calls. There is just too much information blasted at me to process it quickly when I see both. Options is already complicated - why make it more complicated? Robinhood does this the best, but they don't let you sell naked calls or short a stock to sell puts against it (covered puts). They only let you do cash secured puts and the only way to short is buying puts. RH best layout but no ability to short stocks is a major problem.
I’m sorry, I don’t have anything to do with them, so not entirely sure what you’re dealing with. Does the order get rejected or you don’t have a button to close it?

TD think or swim is the standard any professional should try to meet or beat. IBKR's TWS looks not good.
