That's pretty hard to do, rails need to be quite strong to even last a single hit. Maybe a skate everything wars style, where they go to home depot or lowes and have a budget and time limit to buy materials and build a rail/ramp would work
Great vid 👍 On the topic of nose grind or Crooked… A nose grind is kinda like the opposite of a 5.0. and can be done without touching the nose down. A crooked is a combination of a Nose grind and Nose slide, so both the nose and trunk make contact.
8:51 A wiggaly nose grind. If you land crokeon rail then center to nose for landing still a croke. But if you land front 50 nose then go croke Ill agree to a nose grind but wiggly.
9:03 if the trucks are touching, it’s a grind. If only the board is making contact then it’s a slide; e.g. boardslide vs 50-50. It’s in the name, Grind v Slide.
The reason they make the rail not sit on the base is likely tolerance. You would need the parts the exact correct length to sit in the hole and at the base. With a gap, the cuts can be slightly off, so they can make it faster and cheaper.
Yes fs over crook is a trick. Nose grind is dead on even straight with the rail when grinding. A over crook is almost like a nose blunt on a rail but pinching your front tuck like a crook.
You could always find something to prop under it for support. Idk the name of the piece but you can get a half pipe that'll fit around the bottom half in the middle to support it and extend the life of the rail.
All rails Need a grip pad in the center under the rail instead of just on the outside of the feet. 3 pads on each foot so they don't bend upward from the center. Keen ramps was just talking about this.
I believe in the frontside overcrook, at the Braintree skatepark which is where I grew up skating, the manual pad had a round and square rail on top of the manny pad. So when i was learning back crooks because im goofy i would start by learning bs crooks on the inside of the rail so if i pop im on top of the manny pad. When i learned a fs nose grind/fs overcrook i would ollie over the rail and pinch a back crook on the safe side but i was fully over the rail, i feel a fs nose-grind you need to be straight and balanced

Does shien have skate rails? Braille should make a diy/knock off park in the parking lot. Keen ramps did a few videos on how to do free obstacles or nearly free. Braille could go make some, out of pallets, protector ply, scrap wood, pvc pipe, bedframes all that glorious stuff. Think of all the content you could make.
Nose grinds are both parallel with the obstacle and balanced on the truck like a 5-0 should be. Over crooks are over the obstacle and the nose can touch.
Werent you guys, saying, you were going to change venue? And rehabilitate braille for a new build/skate park as its been there so long, Try thinking you could change location, Or new Park. That would be Sick!
I had to give all my rails away cause my apartments don't allow me to skate in the parking lot. my favorite was the red rainbow tail I had. it would be cool to see you guys skate a rainbow tail or whale tail rails.
I'm almost 40 and picked back up roller blading after twenty years off so I could be made fun of at the skate parks again. 🤣 I just wear more pads now cuz I'm old lol.
Over crook is when the board sticks out over the rail, so Ricks trick would be a FS over crook and when the board is in line with the rail its a FS nosegrind... imo.
From what Rick said he doesn't really believe that any overkrook is just a nose grind. If the two are the same in two different directions then all of them in that style would be the same trick
if an overcrook is a nosegrind, then a back crook doesnt exist. the pinch makes it a different trick. idk why this debate exists, i feel like people are trolling
By Rick's logic a krooked grind would be considered a nose grind and there is no difference there is a huge difference in both take a little skill and technique to do an overkrook is much more harder than I nose grind and those who do the nose grind ones know exactly how hard it is to actually tweak the board out like a krook. Disagree two different tricks.
And if there is no such thing as a fs overcrook then there's no such thing as a front crook, either. It's just a nosegrind. In which case there's no point having a bs crook either, so basically crooks are gone and they're all just nosegrinds.
Ricky should consult with Garrett Ginner on the overkrook vs nose grind debate!!
He's a non believer

Glo talking about the BMX on the rail saying that's what happens when you put metal on metal. Not realizing skateboard trucks are metal

Getting your own railing from a hardware store is cheaper and is actually made to last.
Making your own skate park accessories is fun and rewarding.
If you can weld...
This isn’t aimed for people that can make their own rails. This is most likely targeted towards children/teens that can’t, which is most of them.

Yes to this cool orange rail Braille
do you guys have the link for it? I tried searching on Amazon for it but couldn’t find though it might be a locational thing, amazing content by the way
I couldn't find it either
Front overcrook is a trick. It's a nosegrind if it doesn't go over and fully lock into the wheel like it would on a normal crook.
Love this, you guys went ham 😎👌 grewt job ricky, glo 👏 love braille ❤
Thanks so much
Hey aaron how do I not land so far forward on the nose when I tre flip I lean back but I still land on the nose
Sounds like they need to make a new Skate Support video! I can’t remember when they last made one.

Do they have their own custome made rails or are they bought from someone else
Great video. Nd thx ricky for pmo rob pace, I seen his video part after this nd was shocked by him. Also crazy how u managed to do that last trick😮

What size board does Ricky skate?? I’m guessing 8.5?
8
I might buy it, I'm just learning to grind so it would definitely be useful especial for such a cheap price but I dunno
Fair enough!
Ricky: @4:32 that’s called a military press. Very close tho
Haha
I recently broke my deck where can I get a new one?
I've got an idea for a video: Cheap rail vs cheap board. Find the cheapest of each and see which breaks first
Ok
DO A TEMU BOARD PLS
If there’s a Suski, 5-0, and Salad, there’s definitely an overcrook.
Ok
Man yall make me want to try skateboarding again. Haven’t skated since I was like 12z At 35 think im a little passed the times.

You must be new to the channel. 30+ “beginners” are their bread and butter. Go get ya self a board buddy and get at her!!
The overhead exercise I believe is "overhead press" or also "military press". Anyone else feel free to correct me.
yep. and the variation he did is called behind the neck overhead press
It's genius design that when you break your legs from skating this rail, it also doubles as crutches so you can hobble to the hospital. 🤣
perpendicular board with rail + grinding truck like a manual = nose grind... board 45d to rail + pinch and board contact rail = crooked grind
Way off with the overcook statement wasn't he...does this dude even skate ?
I have this rail and for the money it’s amazing.
Nice
why is glow wearing snow pants?
Over crook is when the board sticks out over the rail, so Ricks trick would be a FS over crook and when the board is in line with the rail its a FS nosegrind... imo.

If that angle didn't count there would be no krook. Take it away there you have to take it away everywhere
Hmmm
The rail would have to be orange freakin Amazon 😂😂
"My sk8rbois love it "
What’s happening with glow’s fringe 😂😂

Ricky could get really big if he lifted weights.
Board slide to 50-50 on a lower rail Ricky
No lie. There’s already a boardslide to 50-50 Braille army video from 7 years ago 😂
Those 50-50s sounded so nasty. It hurts!
The Front side crook and nose grind have already been proven by Tony hawk games. That's the guide book I'm pretty sure.
Not front side crook but over crook
So a crooked grind is a nose grind now? Why are we devolving?
Sick kicks Brown
Also… I hate the feeling of hair in my face so I am annoyed on Ricky’s behalf even though he is unbothered
Why does bro with the I love skate shirt tryna sound like Aron lmao!!! And I guessed $80 before y’all said that.
Good guess
Nosegrinds are straight. Crooks are not.
Different board position on the rail = different trick.
Ye hooooo. I just got my channel back. I can post again
At 4:13 why does bro look like he got a sharpie hair line, what happen to braille I haven’t watch y’all in years.
