When I took my first steps of being a christian that certain demon kept knocking on my heart.but the Holy spirit told that demon NO! SHE BELONGS TO ME! I couldn't picture how He saw me, only how I saw myself. This song is a wonderful reminder as to who God says we are, and how His view of us is the only view that matters. I struggled for years with trying to fit in, but I never did. EVER. I have always been what the bible calls us-- PECULIAR! It got to a point where I didn't even know me I wanted soooo BADLY to fit in!! However, God allowed me to start at a new high school in 10th grade where He repaired and saved me. You want to know what's funny?!?!? I was just about the only kid who was open about my faith in God and everyone 9th-12h grade- including teachers- knew it :) I stuck out like a sore thumb but for once-- I was happy about it, and I LOVED going to school to shine my light :) People respected that and everyone knew me. Did a few kids not like me because of my faith in God? Um of course, carry the Cross right?!? Haha! What was awesome was at the end of the summer after this guy was trying to bully me God allowed me to graduate high school ONE YEAR EARLY and the guy was older than me and he's still there. At the end of the day- we should always remember that if we keep seeking God, we'll receive our reward in Heaven!! And because we serve the best God ever, He'll still provide for us and reward us on earth because He loves us

This song makes me feel better about myself and it tells me that i dont need to fit in at school, that im famous in MY fathers eyes.
I struggled for years with trying to fit in, but I never did. EVER. I have always been what the bible calls us-- PECULIAR! It got to a point where I didn't even know me I wanted soooo BADLY to fit in!! However, God allowed me to start at a new high school in 10th grade where He repaired and saved me. You want to know what's funny?!?!? I was just about the only kid who was open about my faith in God and everyone 9th-12h grade- including teachers- knew it :) I stuck out like a sore thumb but for once-- I was happy about it, and I LOVED going to school to shine my light :) People respected that and everyone knew me. Did a few kids not like me because of my faith in God? Um of course, carry the Cross right?!? Haha! What was awesome was at the end of the summer after this guy was trying to bully me God allowed me to graduate high school ONE YEAR EARLY and the guy was older than me and he's still there. At the end of the day- we should always remember that if we keep seeking God, we'll receive our reward in Heaven!! And because we serve the best God ever, He'll still provide for us and reward us on earth because He loves us
