I was born and lived in Warrington for 20 years, moved away 7 years ago but this hit me like a nostalgia bomb. I've walked every step you've walked in this video at some point. Thanks for this, real home sick vibes!
I've lived in this town all my life and I've never seen it so dead of life in my life once was the best town you would ever see night life was life now it's rear you hear any English spoke around and night life is so bad it's not worth leaving the house shops all over closing for good but not bad for a bite to eat is all I can say for this once was stunning lively town I use to call home with respect in my heart now I say Stockton heath that hurts ......
I lived in Warrington for almost 5 years and this place it's a wonderful place to live. Many green places, the rent is cheaper than in Manchester and there are many shops where you can buy goods. There are many jobs around here and the place is situated between Liverpool, Manchester, Chester and Is also close to Wales.
I’ve lived in Warrington my whole life, it is indeed wonderful to live there and it is a perfect place to live if you like peace, quiet and a lot of ASDAs XD
absolutely stunned by the beautiful urban fabric of warrington, this massive town is also spotless, green and if the famous ornate gate is well known and it is indeed second to none, the central shopping area looks great too, stunning st elphins parish church will surely one day become a cathedral when warrington is given city status. thank you
Some lovely places to walk around Warrington include Woolston Eyes, New Cut/Paddington Meadows, Sankey Valley Park, Moore nature reserve and Walton Gardens (not totally sure if they count as Warrington but they are in walking distance from the town centre)
I love the video quality - superb! Thank you you so much for sharing - it is very helpful intro. Could you please tell me what camera did you use and what tools did you use to make the video capturing very stable?
Thinking of relocating here soon but I like night life , mostly clubbing , pls can anyone tell me about the night life and if there are great clubs there ?
Hate the way the American Airbase was totally demolished with no trace of it ever existing left bar a poxy museum located at the back of a two bit theme park and don't get me started on Mr. Smiths and it's alleged fire by "arson"
@@Goldenwhitewings There used to be an American Airbase located in Warrington. I believe it was the largest in Europe. It was massive! The base was home to 18,000 American servicemen at the end of the war. In 1946 the base was transferred back to the United Kingdom however United States operations continued. The base officially closed in 1991 and since then the runway and most of the associated buildings have been demolished. Part of it was underground. Went on a tour there before it closed. An unbelievable site. It had everything in there in the event of a war. The two bit theme park (and houses around that area) Kevin mentions is built on part of that site. That whole area was a military base. Believe it or not part of the road you drive in on as you enter the theme park is still the original airbase road!
