I’m 65 yrs old. Born in 1956. When I was a teen I didn’t like the rock of my age the late 60’s. So I laid in the sun with my ear plugs and listen to the 50’s music. I had the earplugs on so my parents wouldn’t know was I was listening to. The were very strict about our music… no rock. But I came all the way through the eras of music being exposed to a lot of music. I went through all of this to commend you for giving Dimash a chance. I don’t know your ages or if you have been exposed to opera or classical music. With me and Dimash it doesn’t even matter to me what he sings. Here’s a word I haven’t heard you guys use but you talk about your emotions. This word comes from that word. Dimash emotes to us any feeling whatsoever. He wants us to feel . So I’ve heard him say that the language barrier would not be a hindrance when he comes to America. He’s almost fluent in English tho’ only studying for 5 years. But I don’t care what language he sings in he gets my feelers every time. My daughter won’t listen to him because he’s not on the radio. The music on the radio is polluted. They’ve processed it. Even country which used to be good at telling a story is still singing about alcohol and comparing the high of alcohol to the high of loving a woman by male singers. And it’s all men singers.
