Rachel, I really appreciate your job. it helps a lot. I`ve been watching you for years. I`m wandering if you could resume by any chance to break down some episodes when people are speaking ebonics or a sort of afro american manner of speaking. For the non-americans those accents are hard to comprehend.Thank you from Russia with love)
I've been studied an awful lot English on my own by reading books, watching so many videos on YT from different coach/teachers and so on but sometimes I feel a little bit frustrated, specially when I heard an utterence like that: "I wouldn't have even..." spoken by natives English in a daily normal speaking. Even though I've heard this sentence a million times I couldn't have even understood it. This sentence, mostly, are being hard to me. But one thing I'm totally sure, I won't give up. Thank you for your efforts. Yours videos are a quite useful. Regards from Brazil.
Six years ago, I knew ur website and it was so useful for my pronunciation. I watched more than 100 videos in ur website. And I still love your video. Thank you so much teacher Rachel! From Korea🇰🇷
I think it's great that you use the show FRIENDS as your source material for your lessons. Apart from it being very popular, it has a lot of realistic dialogue and I noticed that the actors had stronger american accents than today's generation. It's a product of it's time. Also, it's a great vehicle to teach people of other cultures about american humor.
Even after watching this video, i still feel confused to the way they said like i wouldn'ov even 😂. Now i know why i can't understand a single word when i watch serials like this. Thank you very much for your shares!!
Thanks so much Rachel! You know, in China, the English we learn is too formal! I've never been taught like this in detail of American pronunciation! I'm go a short-term study in SGP where English is everywhere. This is the first time I've been to a country whose first language is English. The way local people say is never same as what I was taught in China. I felt so much frustated and couldn't sleep well last night. Cauz I really love English and I look forward to master real English-not that kind of in China. I figure out the right way to open English is to use it every day. I sincerely hope to get encouragement from u, a big fan of u from China:)
Rachel, I just wanna say that your course has drastically improved my accent. You have put together everything in the academy so elegently. You have a very special, simple and professional way in teaching. I've learned and still learning from you A LOT❤❤❤. I really hope that you could remember me. I'm Marwa Nawawy. Thanks to you, I have launched my youtube channel.
I just realized that the most complicated lessons in this channel are from Friends, maybe I should go watch it without subtitles and practice. Thanks Rachel for all your content I really appreciate it.
It's like a new language when I look at all those TV serials. I feel that I have to ask you, Rachel, to add your comments to all those films I'm going to watch. That's for sure.

Hi, Rachel, this was a tremendous video thanks for you took this friends scene because Jennifer Aniston my favorite actress I liked it a lot I learned everything in this scene you told in this video the "girl" word is a tricky word when we speak that word slow we can pronounce correct but when we spoke fast then a little bit hard to pronounce and you told about your Academy I don't afraid to join your academy I wanted to join. Thanks for making this video
It would be cool to see explanations of (supposedly unknown for beginners) words. Yeah, I know, there are dictionaries, though covering it in video (maybe even in a separate one) would be pretty awesome.
