How about a female character who endures hardship or abuse, or just any female character who does something good? Annalise Keating in How to get away with murder was also a strong female character, even with her alcoholism and flaws.

I feel like y'all really gonna enjoy Vincenzo, Mouse, and Beyond Evil. These three are some of the best Kdramas that have been released this year. And if you really want to watch something where you don't know what's gonna happen, I highly recommend 'MOUSE' I'M TELLING Y'ALL THIS SHOW IS CRAZY HELLA GOOD!!!! You think you know, but you really don't!! Hope you could add them to your list!!
Beyond Evil was a masterpiece! I haven’t finished Mouse but it’s crazy (in a good way) so far. As for Vincenzo, I really liked it at first, but tbh it dragged out a little too long. The story could have been condensed to 16 or even 10 episodes. There was just a little bit too much filler. Still a really fun show and characters though!
Hardly... beyond evil is a great drama but a slow burner; the polar opposite of my name; mouse is predictable at best, and Vincenzo is crap in my opinion compared to dozens of other Korean drama out there. For quality writing, acting etc and on par with this genre I would recommend they jump to Flower of Evil with Lee Joon Gi and Moo Chae Won ...

The first 4 episodes of kdramas usually focuses on the introduction of the characters and their relationship/connection to the main lead. Also I highly recommend the zombie kdrama Kingdom 1 & 2. It's really good!💜
