To me his peak in terms of piano playing is still the unravel cover, but I'd say that now he masters his covers much faster. Back then he used to practice them for weeks.

AHH i never expected this arrangement coming it BLINDSIDED me!! but nonetheless the best cover i've heard yet. from a piano player of some odd 15 years and a huge animenz fan... here are my (quite extensive) thoughts :) 0:04 - this beginning section has (at least) two guitars which is hard to transfer to piano, but by the left hand jumping up an octave and bringing some more rhythm in, it really captures both guitar sections which is so cool :) 0:12 - i love the switch up here: bringing the right hand down an octave and changing the left hand movements to broken chords with a tiny bit of staccato mixed in... it's super entertaining to the ear to hear a change like that - it keeps it interesting!! 0:23 - the TENTHS STARTING HERE i love it, and those little left hand runs create a really smooth transition to a new note in the chord progression, it's very fluid!! 0:32 - the guitar in the OP is kinda just shredding in the background, but i love how instead of JUST capturing the guitar, you infused it with your own personal style :) and the arpeggios are such a beautiful touch 0:45 - i love the use of dynamics here - quieting things down (especially in such an intense OP) allows the main chorus afterwards to punch really hard!! 0:55 - OOOOH THE BUILDUP BEGINNING... and i love how you accent just the right notes, and the lingering on those punched notes... i rely a bit too much on the pedal for that rather than holding the note for half a second longer, sigh... bad habit 😅 1:03 - THAT PUNCH FELT SO GOOD and was such a wonderful transition 1:08 - that right hand run... so beautiful. and the pause afterwards really gave it a moment of silence for the watcher to react like: "oh wow" 1:09 - the dynamics dying down a bit really gives the buildup more emphasis!! AND THE TENTHS ARE BACK :) 1:17 - i adore that right hand run so much, there are so many elements in this arrangement that create a sense of surprise and this is a big one for me :) 1:37 - the right hand coming down yet again keeps it from getting too repetitive and gives it a little sense of surprise!! 1:55 - this is where it starts to get to the point of "is he even human?" and all you can do as you listen is stare with your mouth hanging open in surprise haha. but on another note, i love the flair that the right hand notes give. you really use the whole piano in your arrangements!! 2:04 - THE FINGER STRENGTH i seriously cannot fathom it. you're literally shredding on the piano, it's so incredible :) but the runs and the layers (the left hand broken chords, the big bass punches) really give this part a lot of technical emphasis and sheer shock for the listener :0 2:14 - i love this transition... both hands jumping from higher to lower notes at a louder dynamic before a nice run that calms and quiets things down. and that little left hand octave was a nice closure to that section :) 2:25 - this refrain is my favorite, and i love the right hand playing some slightly different versions of the melody on a higher octave. it reminds me of how music artists layer their voices between when the chord progression begins again!! the use of crescendo yet again gives the watcher the feeling of a huge punch coming :0 2:40 - THIS PUNCH IS INSANE. right after those four HUGE accented octave notes in both hands, you realize... the punch isn't over and there's another four!!! truly the essence of fortissimo (maybe even fortississimo) 2:45 - what an amazing fake-out lol. that HUGE punch leading to a massive shift in dynamics is so amazing. and again, it keeps the watcher in suspense and makes it much more exciting :) i love that the left hand is carrying the melody this time while also keeping the rhythm, the technicality is so so well done!! 2:53 - that beautiful little right hand arpeggio is such a nice touch, and it gives such a nice transition into the main melody 3:10 - that rit. is so lovely, and really gives a punch of both dynamic and tempo to the main refrain returning afterwards :) 3:13 - the right hand playing two different layers is awesome, leading into some sick three hand techniques (which is such a huge animenz staple) 3:33 - i love this ending as it completely contrasts with the minor key and leaves the watcher in a bit of surprise!! and that ending is truly beautiful. hmm... i wonder what name animenz was about to write... you wouldn't possibly write out a name, unless of course... there's a mysterious detective after you. but all in all, i adore this arrangement. you really did this OP justice (pun)! especially considering it's mainly shredding on electric guitars :P --- finally, just remember!!: an apple a day keeps the shinigamis... stuck by your side...

Loved this arrangement, especially that crazy solo in the middle - it reminds me a lot of your "Black Catcher" arrangement earlier. 🔥 I think this is definitely one of the longest gaps between when you first mentioned that you were going to cover a song and when you actually covered it - and finally the day has come, after six long years! But I'm glad that we were able to get an arrangement of "the WORLD" in a more refined, experienced style (plus with much better audio quality)! I wonder how much of "the WORLD" you had initially planned out back in 2016 before continuing to pursue your music degree, and how different the 2022 version is from your initial draft. Your arrangement style has definitely evolved over the past six years, and it is certainly an experience to listen to both this arrangement and the four other Shounen project songs that were released back in 2016 to see how things have changed. And hey, if the people who wanted to listen to your "the WORLD" arrangement waited six years for this moment, I can surely wait another six years for some of the songs you mentioned will get a full arrangement in the future (such as Kyouran Hey Kids, Let Me Hear, Inferno, Yuri on Ice, just to name a few).
