@@realshit6061 Pretty much just food costs, just LED, no uvb bulb, although he does get indirect sunlight for a couple hours a day because he is near a window. I use a heat pad that I turn off at night, keeps tank at around 76 during the day and 69 at night.
Just wanted to thank you again for this video. I got my Leachie after seeing this video, and a pet only. She’s absolutely amazing. I wouldn’t have thought/considered her without this video. She has a tiny underbite. She’s very sweet and absolutely beautiful.
I bough a pair of lechies from a breeder who was exiting breeding. They get along great so far. But they aren’t breeding age. I watch them for fighting but this far nothing observed. I’m upgrading them to a 36X18x36 to give them plenty of “alone time” space to hopefully avoid future fighting. I imagine when they reach sexual maturity things could take a turn? I may get a camera set up. This was pretty terrifying to hear how bad it can be. Which I knew , but your honesty really drove it home. Which I appreciate. It’s a serious topic and needs to be acknowledged.
Loved the video it was very informative I currently breed crested geckos. But I'm also going to breed leachies I actually got my first leachianus gecko from you . Thank you for that I do love her and I'm hoping to do my first pairing this year. With a pair of high purple nuu Ana's I got from Northern gecko I. So excited and terrified at the same time . Thanks for the videos they really help
Thank you for your honesty, i m fond of leachianus, i got 6 pairs (1 adults couple and the other are babies)... I m constantly watching them because i don't have camera near their tanks and i work outside 😅and i know that the worst can happen too, i m crying watching your story, that s hard a f... There are a lot of known breeder but nearly no one tells this 😶thank you💕
I was thinking about putting a mister on my leachie and setting it twice a day and I had a guy tell me dont do it because they flood the tank. I see you have misters what do you do with yours?
mistking is a great option. and misters dont flood anything not unless you are using a misting system not made for reptiles. reptile misiting systems usually have really good setting for 10 to 30 second mists at 2 or 3 points in a day.
My female actually laid her 2nd egg today. They first was a total dud but I candled this one and saw some veins. Keeping my fingers crossed it’s fertile!!
Great info, just ordered my 1st leachie an hour ago, pure pine isle. I will be tuning in!
What's the monthly cost of keeping one?
@@realshit6061 Probably around $25 give or take. He's getting big lol
@@cesarsainz9323 And what contributes to that number? Do u use a heat sources and uvb..... thx

Consider getting a Wyze camera. They work great.
Do you know what's the monthly cost of keeping a single leachie?
