I feel like he is the type of person to watch one of those vintage black and white silent films with the planes and cars crashing and genuinely start wheezing and crying.
With the weird, jolly and happy sounding piano songs and when there’s supposed to be sound effects or people talking, it cuts to a card with the words of said sound and or dialogue
I'm convinced that Jerma has some repressed childhood memory of being in a traumatic crash and this is his brain's subconscious way of processing the trauma

No joke I am watching this while I recover after going 80 kmh on the highway yesterday and smashing into the side of a van turning left at the last second. This also happened exactly 3.5 hours after I had just passed my driving test. Van was flipped and its passenger was initially stuck inside the vehicle but thankfully nobody was hurt, including my friend who was in the passenger seat next to me and who took the brunt of the collision. My car’s totalled but honestly I just feel lucky none of us ended up in the hospital. I’m sore as hell today and have temporary tinnitus from the airbags going off, but watching these clips are genuinely helping me feel better.
