@@nufnuffz28 thanks I'm looking to do a procharger in a couple months. I'm tying to decide between the d1 or jumping up to f1a. keep the videos coming I enjoy the content.
This is a interesting video bc I was going to go with this cam but instead went straight to D1X Prochargered. I have a stock cam 2015 SS with same exact set up but with a 3.70 upper & stock lower. It also made 11 lbs & on e85 it did 705 HP/648 TQ. Nice to see the difference it would have made with the cam I wanted. Also how much boost was gained. Good info & keep up the awesome work!
A cam will make LESS boost. Its advantageous as now we can control boost and HP by RPM. It also will turn 7k plus easily now, whereas the stock cam I don't like to turn more than 6500 especially with boost and stock springs. With that upper you have. I'd swap a larger lower and larger upper to keep the belt wrap happy and less chance of slip (plus it looks like you're on lower boost). You would need to pulley down some to make the same boost after you cam it, but also being able to turn more RPM you would get some boost back. Lot of things to think about, so always start with your final goal and go backwards towards it! Good numbers!
did you have any issues with belt walking off the pully attached to the crank or bracket flex? my belt keeps coming off. I have the F1A. Same bracket and pullies. I have a G8 though.
The F series blowers have a longer snout. If you run an F series blower you have to mill .100 off of the back of the blower pulley to correct the alignment.
Thorley Tri-Y Ceramic 1 3/4” primaries 2 1/4” collectors…restrictive set up…great headers if you want to delete cats & keep the remainder of 2 1/4” OEM exhaust…hoping to gain some power with these nice big Kooks! 👍🏻
Full Solo Cyclone 2 1/2” system with Black Widow Venom 250’s…NA car with BTR Red Hot cam, 3200 stall, head work, VCM, SS 3.45 diff, E85, etc…nice reliable very drivable & enjoyable set up!
@@nightranger3430 nice, I asked because I'm curious to see how changing header diameter affects power. I've seen carried results so a true back to back comparison is nice. I'm guessing as you stand you're in the low 400's?
@TonyTheTruckGuy I have 4 trucks, and I can assure u an aveo could fit in the box of 3 of them. Other than the ZL1 camaro, Chevy just makes shit looking vehicles
Can’t wait to get mine and send it to you guys 💪🏾🔥
Bring it on...

Noted!
Where are you guys located ?
Central NC
WhoAAAAA😮!!!!
Its pretty epic!
How does the d1x compare to the d1sc?
D1x puts out a little more CFM and boost up top compared to the D1SC

Baddass building

No. We take extreme caution to make sure alignment is perfect (normal cause of belt walk)

09 G8…45k miles
