JaneZhang is a really good singer, I think you should do a reaction on 天下無雙 also by JaneZhang(】張靚穎《天下無雙). I was looking for a live version of that performance, and for many years I couldn't find it, but there is now. It was used as the end credit song to Return of the Condor Heroes, and I just thought it was hauntingly beautiful. It really fits with the fantasy element of the show, and I wanted to see a live version so bad because the recorded version is just so ethereal and unreal. I dont mean it sounds fake, it just sounds so clean and knowing how she sounds live, I'm just super curious how she's going to pull it off live. Also XiaoYun(Ghost) also did a cover of it. So you can do both in 1 video. Personally I think as a song I would close my eyes to listen to, having understood the lyrics, I prefer YoBeiNa's version, I like where hers is less "dramatic" I thought it felt somewhat warmer than the other two. But for a movie soundtrack I can imagine JansZhang's version is better, as in accompanied by the visual and the story, because when you're watching the experience is a bit different when you are somewhat already moved by the story and already have a visual. I would think the purpose of hers was to accompany the visual elements that's already made, and I think it's perfect for that. But to be honest XiaoYun's while impressive, to me wasn't moving the way the other 2 did. It felt like it lacks that story telling part of it. I knows Rozette mentioned about singers being able to be touching is because they have good control on their vocal instruments. But I still feel there's a difference between a singer that truly understands and feeling the lyrics as they sing, and the ones that don't. For one there's the ones that have lived through it, and then there's another that while haven't leaved through it have the lyrics really resonate with them, and they are really feeling that lyrics as they sing. And Ghost isn't any of the two, I'm not saying she doesn't understand it on a deeper level, Im saying maybe she's feeling the music more than she's feeling the lyrics, you know?

@@yxuen3051 Fifth Element的歌她唱得還不夠神麼… 黃曉雲確實很厲害，從小就學習專業美聲，科班出身。張靚穎實話說嗓音條件確實沒有黃曉雲好，有時belting得有些費力。但張是無師自通的，敢於挑戰，又有那麼多經典作品。她也是很少見的低音渾厚，頭聲超高的同時又很柔美的歌手。只要她不要勉強地去衝很高的強混，她就很神啊

我也認為原唱最好。張的音樂技巧、情感及戲劇張力都拿捏的非常完美，當然這是在她無懈可擊的歌聲基礎上。有時候在一首曲子裡塞入過多的元素，可能是高超的歌唱技巧可能是過多的情感表達，會讓人感覺有點煽情有些過，聽起來感覺有點負擔有點膩，聽不完全曲會想關掉。

200% agree with the teacher, the song makes me think about Disney, too, even though I’m a Taiwanese. To someone who never heard the song before, this melody seems the bgm of the happy ending of Disney movies, especially the fairytales with princess 😂
