    I don't see how people could think some of that crap is any where close to real

      Right, EZ. That crap don’t look real. Pretty sure everyone knows that. People watch for entertainment. 😂

    I am so glad you are saying this. I wish you would also address those vloggers that use clickbait titles on their videos.

    • @TheGlassFamilyvlog
      @TheGlassFamilyvlog  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Some Clickbait is a necessary evil for video creators. Now there are 2 types of Clickbait #1 the Honest but Tricky titling and Thumbnail and #2 The flat out lie that doesn't pertain to the video at all. Creators have to live in the #1 space to get views and remain respected. The #2 space should absolutely be shunned and is a reason to be upset. Opinions vary but I personally consider Antique Bottles a Valuable Treasure. Some may consider that clickbait but it's not. They are valuable pieces of history some worth thousands of dollars. Now the one thing most will not consider is the creators time involved with traveling, filming and editing. Most of my trips out of state to treasure hunt cost thousands of dollars and again I need the videos to perform to the best of their ability without ruining my reputation. So I walk a fine line with clickbait to insure to get my initial investment back. Just full transparency into how most successful creators think. Thanks for commenting!

    LOL I watched one of those just music amazing finds videos once. Knew immediately that it was BS. Sad thing, one of the creators that got me into metal detecting was caught faking a dug silver coin. I just immediately unsubbed and moved on. Integrity is a must for many of us diggers in the treasure fam! More good info, Brandon!

    I vaguely remember an episode of the British archaeology show Time Team from years ago when a guy tried to claim he found a centuries old sword on his property and the team proved he was lying because it was on top of a string of modern barbed wire 😳😒🍻

    Those of us that detect/dig know what is real and fake. I hate seeing those videos. It is funny to watch them walk up on a bank with bottles hanging out all the same “wrong” direction. I’ve been digging 30 years and have never once seen bottles just hanging out all in the same direction out of a bank. Well maybe in my dreams 😂 never in real life. I feel you brother, people need to know what’s real. Or finding a “coin spill” of all gold coins. BS, possible, if they were rich in the day and didn’t realize they lost an entire life’s fortune. Unbelievable…literally.

      A pinpointer on a string? I think Brandon should do a video where the camera doesn’t go off for 20 minutes and he digs every signal. For me…that would consist of 20 minutes of junk, lol. The one time I dug a silver Quarter I didn’t even have my phone to take pictures 😂😂😂😂 show people what it can be like, not just the highlights.

    • @TheGlassFamilyvlog
      @TheGlassFamilyvlog  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yep! Unless being used for a teaching segment during a video with your own voiceover it is something TH-cam should catch. The short videos are the ones that have really taken this to a new level.

    There's only four channels I subscribe to, yours, cause I know your channels are real, history seekers, Chicago bottle Diggers (I think that's what it's called), and Nicola White mud-larking and artist. Metal detecting, mud-larking and digging for bottles, and magnet fishing too, are my favorite things, I'll try not to fall for those BS channels, most of all not to comment on them.
