আমি এই প্রথম ফুটবলার দিলীপ পালিতের ইন্টারভিউ শুনলাম। ওনার খেলাও দেখেছি যখন উনি মোহনবাগানের হয়ে খেলতেন। শুনেছিলাম উনি বিপক্ষের খেলোয়াড়দের হার্ড ট্যাকেল করতেন, যেজন্য ওনাকে বিপক্ষের খেলোয়াড়েরা ভয় পেতো। কিন্ত ওনার কথা শুনে আমার মনে হয়েছে উনি একজন সরল মনের মানুষ।
প্রদীপ ব্যানার্জী খেলোয়াড় হিসাবে নামি হলেও কোচ হিসাবে কখনোই প্রখ্যাত নন। ওনার সফলতা নামি ফুটবলরাদের নিয়ে। অমল দত্তই ছিলেন তখনকার সময়ের সেরা কোচ।

গ্যারিবল্ডী সম্পর্কে ক্যাভুর বলতেন "ওর হৃদয়টা সিংহের মতো সাহসী,কিন্তু মাথাটা ষাঁড়ের মতো নিরেট"। দিলীপ পালিত খুবই সাহসী ফুটবল খেলতেন।

Very selfish
This was done intensionally & with the clear instruction of Pradip Banerjee & P.K was knowing that Bidesh Bose was very fast player & only Dilip Palit can restricted him with rough tackle.That very day I was in the field as a spectator. Palit was tracked roughly & next time he gone past Dilip Palit with a speed & hit him from behind on Bidesh's thigh & he fell down.Later both Palit & Bidesh were red carded.There was hue & cry in Ranji Stadium & 16 spectators were died.This is the responsibility of P.K.Banerjee & he was the man to blame foe this carnage.
PK & ref Sudhin were the main culprits. Dilip was hired to stop Bidesh in the derby. Dilip was scapegoated in a planned way. Pradip Kumar shouldn't be as revered as the media portrayed for so long. Look how irresponsible Dilip & how he brushed off his responsibilities as if lives don't matter. If I had my way, I'd ask Mohun Bagan Club to stop inviting Palit & remove Pradip's name from the club's gym.

দুঃখের সঙ্গেই বলছি, এখন ওনার কোথায় আর খুব বেশী গুরুত্ব দেওয়া যায় না। হয়তো কোনো শারীরিক কারণেই কথাবার্তা গুলি অংলগ্ন হয়ে গেছে।
যে টুকু ওনার খেলা সম্মন্ধে মনে পড়ে, উনি একটু বেশি বয়সে বড় ক্লাবে এই এসেছিলেন। ওনার কথাতেই সেটা পরিষ্কার। উনি বলছেন সুধীর কর্মকার এবং উনি সহপাঠী ছিলেন। সুধীর কর্মকার ইস্টবেঙ্গল এ সই করেছিলেন ১৯৬৯ সালে। আর উনি প্রথম বড় ক্লাব মোহনবাগানে সই করেছিলেন ১৯৭৫ সালে। মোহনবাগান বা ইটবেঙ্গল এ উনি top form এ বেশী দিন খেলতে পারেন নি। কিছুদিনের মধ্যেই চিন্ময়, শ্যামল ব্যানার্জী, কমটন দত্ত, প্রেমনাথ ফিলিপ ভারতীয় দলে পাক্কা জায়গা করে নেন।

You are contradicting Dilip Palit's own statement where he had confessed that on behest of coach P K Bannerjee he intentionally targetted Bidesh Bose's left leg to cause injury. Out of four regular defenders namely Subrata Bhattacharya, Pradip Chowdhury, Crompton Dutta and Dilip Palit, Dillip Palit was definitely the weakest spot in Mohun Bagan defence that time.

@kumardesarkar1881 আশী সালে ইস্টবেঙ্গল মোহনবাগানের ইডেনের সেই খেলায় শুরু থেকেই বিদেশ বসুকে আটকাতে না পেরে সমানে চোরাগোপ্তা চালাতে থাকেন। শেষমেশ অধৈর্য হয়ে বিদেশ বসুও পা চালিয়ে দ্যান। মাঠে উত্তেজনা ও গ্যালারি ভেঙে পদপিষ্ট হয়ে বেশ কয়েকজন দর্শক অসহায় ভাবে মারা যান। অথচ উনি এমন ভাবে নির্মম ঘটনাটি তুলে ধরেন যেন এটি একটি সাধারণ ঘটনা। অথচ এই অমানবিক ঘটনাটির জন্য উনি একা কালপ্রিট নন্। উনি নিমিত্ত মাত্র। সেদিনের সেই জঙ্গি ফুটবলকে আজও সুধী ফুটবল প্রেমীরা ভুলতে পারেন নি। বিশেষ করে এই ফুটবলারটি আজও জনমানসে ধিকৃত ও ঘৃণিত।। এ আর নতুন কথা কী ।।
অতীত ঘাঁটতে চাই না। আমাদের ছোটবেলাকার এইসব খেলোয়াড়, সে যে ক্লাবেরই হোক না কেন, দেখলে তাদের কথা শুনলে খুবই ভালো লাগে। যিনি সাক্ষাৎকারটা নিলেন তিনি অনবদ্য।
তবে এটাও ঠিক এ যেন অন্য দিলীপ পালিত তবে এটাও ঠিক মানুষ টা কিন্তু সরল ধন্যবাদ গৌতম বাবু সুন্দর শুনলাম বা দেখলাম এক অকপট কথাবার্তা ভাল লাগলো

He was never a skilled fooball player that he knew himself so he mostly defend with his NOT HARD but ROUGH tackel. We have seen many big world level footballers did tackle roughly but that day not only palit and bose the roughness continued among other players too even after that incident. Football is a body contact game it could happen but that doesnot allow the good spectators to be so hostile among each each other which also RIGHTLY reasulted many football lovers did not turn up to the ground even after.
