Hi Cara! Thanks for sharing your honest experience. The mosquitos this year are unbearable! My hubby ordered some very expensive custom netting to cover the open door areas for our van, and I was not convinced we needed it, but after watching your video I am thinking it was a good purchase! I have never been to Galveston even though I have lived in Texas my whole life. Now I know where to go eat if we ever decide to visit. Thank you for sharing!
Totally such a good investment lol I am ordering some for our van as well soon and we hope as it cools off in the fall we can take some more overnight trips in it. The humidity here in Texas is unbearable even with our max air fan. I see now why people with vans live on the west coast lol
@@CARACELESTEWEST Yes! I am looking forward to staying in dryer places like Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, California... We are driving to Lake Tahoe in mid-July. Hopefully we can get our van in a usable state by then. We had to re-do a lot of things after our Smoky Mtns trip in September. Live and learn!

Thank you Nikkie! It was totally a learning curve not to sleep in the van when it’s so humid out lol but we tried and you don’t know until you try. We still had a great time! And totally agree my favorite flavor is the change the whirled flavor 🤤
Such a good question! Since we can’t add a third seat we sadly have to sell it but we are excited to start looking at trailers to purchase to renovate so we can travel more comfortably as a family… not to mention having A/C lol
@@meganlutz3576 totally do it that way you know what you want in your build or how you want to lay it out. We plan to do the same with trailers to figure out which configuration works best for us. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions at all the process was super fun for us once we got the van and we had the best van builders

@@CARACELESTEWEST I’ve been exploring the idea of van life and wanted to try it on for size by renting different builds to get a feel.
