    This video has been a big help and inspiration. Nice to know that one has other options. Perhaps the smaller places offer a better lifestyle than the larger metropolitan areas. Thanks for sharing.

    I definitely agree on the local food comment regarding San Jose vs other Costa Rican cities. I was actually a bit disappointed other than breakfasts.

    Thanks for the videos. From your videos I think Granada might be best for the solo traveler. Almost everywhere in the world you have to walk 3 or more blocks away from the tourist area to find cheaper restaurants and markets even.

    Hey Dan, would you do a video on how you traveled to Mexico to Central America.. I'm talking route specific and also did you take regional bus/train or flights to go from one country to the other?

    I went on the ISP website from Atlitan lake and they offer DSL 5/1. For a moment, I had a heart attack ... and I take a deep breathe. I remember 5Mbps, because I start selling Internet at 56Kbps and I still managing an ISP so, not good for work (for now) but good for future business (perhaps). Thank you for your video-reports, very usefull but, like you, I prefer South-East Asia.

      We had very few issues with our Internet speeds. We clcoked our wifi speeds (ATT Test) and were running about 10 MBPS down and 6 MBPS upload speeds. If a certain Internet is required for your business, I suggest reading my process for finding the perfect apartment which fulfills all of your needs. Here are two reports relevant to this topic: One. vagabondbuddha.com/retire-early-on-893-month-in-lake-atitlan-guatemala/ Two. vagabondbuddha.com/how-i-find-perfect-apartments-traveling-the-world/

    Have been watching many of your videos over the last year and really enjoying them. Thinking about multiple places like Ecuador, Phillipines, etc. for future living places. Just caught your age gap video today! Also in an age gap relationship - for 3 years now. We are 21 years apart, 55 and 34. We did an episode of Love Don't Judge called "My Girlfriend Identifies as a Cat". (There was a recent same name video from another couple after ours) The filming company liked to stretch the cat theme a bit with a bit of staged parts. There do tend to be a fair amount of age gap hate comments on the video. Do you ever have to deal with age gap hate?

    • @VagabondAwake
      @VagabondAwake 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      People have never said a thing about our age gap in person. I have had a few comments from younger men on my channel. Like, why is Qiang with such an old man. That kind of thing. But not much negativity from women on the channel.

    • @robrechtart
      @robrechtart 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VagabondAwake We get some "only after his money" and others like "pedophile". The latter maybe in part that many people think Kat looks like a teen or early 20s. Tends to bother Kat seeing negative comments of any sort. Her into kitten life probably more so on the negative comments. We don't get negative comments in person either. Kat does get a lot of younger guys messaging her personally with the "why with an older guy" on her various social media platforms.

      Hi Dr D, When you show up in a new town anywhere in the world, even the USA or Europe, you are at a disadvantage. I have a report that explains how I stay safe when I arrive in a place I am not familiar with yet. Here is a link to that report: vagabondbuddha.com/how-to-travel-the-world-safely/
