Surprisingly Wallace and Gromit (or any Aardman characters) were nowhere to be seen in that video, I only assume one of Wallace’s inventions went awry again.
It's really cool Mackintosh is returning, especially with Peter Kay voicing him again. Really shows his popularity and how iconic he has become to be given this treatment which has never happrned before
I just think MC Mackintosh is an awesome side character, who I wouldn’t mind seeing more often in the series. He could’ve appeared in A Close Shave when Gromit was broken out of prison (although we only see a police car really far in the background of one shot). I’m interested to see what he’ll do in Vengeance Most Fowl, and whether they’ll explain his promotion or not.
I think it's worth mentioning Lady Campanula Tottington appeared in the 2019 DFS advert. So this isn't the first time a Curse of the Were Rabbit character has appeared again.
0:10 "No characters aside from Wallace & Gromit themselves have ever properly returned in another film". Whilst I enjoyed that appearance, there are a few instances of characters returning in advertising etc. Here I'm specifically referring to an original character from one of the five W&G films returning in another.
I honestly cannot wait for Vengeance Most Fowl!! Everyday I keep an eye on the W&G socials for any kind of teaser or even a trailer!! And I can't wait to see this guy return!! 😂 Great video too 😊❤ Edit: I wonder if we'll see any other characters return (I'm hoping Fluffles will I can't lie 😭🙏🏻)
PC Mackintosh was always a favourite character of mine back when I first watched the movie, and I still love him to this day, and I’m so happy to see that he’ll be returning! I saw Peter Kay live at the O2 recently and he has such a warm energy that makes him (in my opinion) perfect for an Aardman production! As always, your videos always bring a smile to my face, please keep up the great work :)
Totally agree. It's admittedly a bit of a fever dream to have Peter returning to W&G as a fan of his work, especially after seeing him live recently myself. Thanks so much 😊
3:14 There's a photo of this set in the Art of the Were-Rabbit book but it's a "silver carrot" instead of a "golden carrot". Maybe they changed it to gold later to make the "24 carrots" joke
Hi Jordan. It’s me, Ben who sent you a video recently. So, this is the video I have been waiting for, which is great. By the way, I always look forward to them and I am wondering how long do the videos take to make? I know that’s a bit of a stupid question and you don’t have answer but, I would like to know cos you’re like the one TH-camr I wait for. When a new video comes out I’m like “yay”. Ps. I’m currently editing a video I’m going to send.
Glad you enjoy the videos! For me, a video like this can take anywhere from a couple days to a week to script, film and edit. I am to get them out weekly, but when longer videos are involved it becomes a challenge.
PC Mackintosh showed up at least once in the comics of the W&G Magazine, but so did characters such as Shaun & Feathers McGraw, so the canonicity of these comics is debatable.
Hm, I couldn't find any evidence of him appearing in the comics but haven't read them all myself, so it'll be interesting to see if pictures emerge online to support this. Thanks for letting me know!
Anyone else realised Albert mackintosh is in the vengeance most fowl BBC trailer shown as an older man? He’s the one who says we’ve got a warrant to search your premises
I should clarify *Wallace & Gromit* film. Shaun's appeared in his own spinoffs (and Cracking Contraptions), but never returned in another of the W&G films.
I admit Some boi's voice put me off a bit at first but I got quickly used to it. IsaacTings on the other hand got annoying very quickly, especially his editing style.
A fucking legend, that's who PC Albert Mackintosh is.
😂😂
Peter Kay also played Big Chris, another British animated legend.
Yep, fond memories of him in Roary, plus the Animated All Star Band!
Surprisingly Wallace and Gromit (or any Aardman characters) were nowhere to be seen in that video, I only assume one of Wallace’s inventions went awry again.
Their absence is quite unusual, I've been meaning to cover the whole thing for a while!
It's really cool Mackintosh is returning, especially with Peter Kay voicing him again. Really shows his popularity and how iconic he has become to be given this treatment which has never happrned before
My thoughts exactly and I couldn't be happier!
"OI! GIVE OVAH!"
"…..mental"
I have to wonder if that was improvised by Peter 😅
He was always of my favorite characters in the film growing up. I did not know until now that he was voiced by Peter K!
He's definitely a standout character! I remember making the connection that it was him, as back then Peter was popping up in quite a few things.
I'm so glad he's back! I can't wait to find out who reece shearsmith and the other new cast are playing as well!
Yep that should be interesting. Funny that Reece was also in Car Share with Peter!
@SomeBoiOnline Yes mate I didn't even think of that! They all worked so well off each other, that episode was hilarious hahaha
It's definitely reassuring that they've cast genuinely funny personalities in the new film, as opposed to just going for massive celebs.
@SomeBoiOnline Completely agree. You just know it's gonna have that distinct charm to it that can't be mimicked!
So glad he's returning love Peter Kay 😊😊😊
Definitely, he's class 😅

Looking forward to see how they reintroduce him!

A cool character that deserved more. I'm not from the UK so I don't really know who Peter Kay is but any how, he makes PC Mackintosh feel real.😄
Hopefully he gets more to do in the new film, Peter's performance definitely does have that genuine feel to it!

Thank you, glad you're looking forward to his return in the new film!
@@SomeBoiOnline I am so excited for the film in general!! W&G is a masterpiece!!! :D
I didn’t even know there was a new movie coming! I’m so excited!
if you ask me this was arson, some body arson around.
Iconic 😂
When PC Mackintosh said:
"THE BEAST ISN'T ACTUALLY DEAD YET??!!"
I laughed my ass off.
😂

I am stoked. I can't wait to see the new movie.
Nice video as always!

That's a good spot! Could very well be the case.

Yay an upload I’ve been waiting !!! ❤️❤️
Hope you enjoy!
Glad PC Mackintosh is coming back, would love Wendolene from A Close Shave and the Robot in A Grand Day Out to return too.
Great overview
Thanks!

Yes! I reacted to the trailer in this video:

@@SomeBoiOnline Ah! thank you!
I just got a gromit plush from on 28th of August
Can we not have Hutch back 🤣🤣
At least canonically we know he's vibing at Tottington Hall 😅
HONEY, HONEY SOMEBOIONLINE POSTED!!
😮
Shaun came back he got his own spin off lol
I should clarify *Wallace & Gromit* film. Shaun's appeared in his own spinoffs (and Cracking Contraptions), but never returned in another of the W&G films.
Wow, PC Macintosh is a bit of a chad for ending up with Totty!
😂😂
It feels right seein’ an old mate.

7:24 Gromit also retains his og voice actor
🤔
@@SomeBoiOnline his brows have been consistently voicing his thoughts since day one 👏
Stand back! There may be a large rabbit dropping!
I like PC Albert Mackintosh
He has a similar mustache to a Scottish terrier
You’re honestly way better than IsaacTings, I could never really get into his videos.
I tried watching a couple of his videos, but I didn’t enjoy them as much. SomeBoiOnline does much better and more comprehensive content.
I admit Some boi's voice put me off a bit at first but I got quickly used to it. IsaacTings on the other hand got annoying very quickly, especially his editing style.
Dont forget shaun returned in his own movies and series!
He's never returned in a Wallace & Gromit movie though, which I should've clarified.
😮
