    I was anticipating this video. Great content. I am a manual wheelchair reliant amputee so I buy the parts and take them to Kia of Bowie in Maryland for installation. ❤️ They hook me up on the labor cost.

      I think you could definitely do this job! You would just need to be able to clear the height of the front of the vehicle but the job itself was surprisingly very easy. Thank you for your support! ☺️

    Could you do a video showing exactly how to position and adjust the led lights when they are installed? I've seen a lot of reviews where people with Kias say the bulbs' low and high beams are reversed, and it would be nice to know why that is and how to fix it. It sounds like there is human error involved and not an issue with the bulbs. Thank you.

    Are these affiliate links? I ordered these and ALL the other LEDs offered by AUXITO. Can't wait to install them. 2019 Soul+ 2.0l auto. Soul life is the good life :) Where did you get that net hanging from headliner?

      Hi there! I just updated the link to affiliate, any bit helps if you haven't already purchased. I definitely agree on the soul life is the good life lol. The hanging headliner link is in my tailgating video. I got it from amazon. Hope this info helps!

    is the LED chip facing 9 and 3 o’clock position? because mine is facing 12 and 6. i have watch some reviews that led facing 9 and 3 o’clock is best for reflector type headlights. and this type of led is not adjustable for beam pattern.

      Mine faces almost 9 and 3 and I just point them downward.

      @@MentorMel I realized this comment is a year old but I just installed a set of these Auxito this weekend on a ‘17 Soul Base. Mine also sit at 12 and 6 and can confirm they are not adjustable. I watched the section of video where you are doing the passenger side, based on where the position you inserted the bulb and twisted, along with the location of the finger fins, yours also looks to be at 12 and 6. The high beam pattern in this position is pure junk:( I’ve reached out to Auxito but don’t expect a response till after the weekend. I’ll keep you updated.
      Thanks for the video. It was especially helpful for the driver side. The OM has you pulling the front bumper cover, which was an epic fail for me. Your way of popping the light forward and up worked like a charm. It did take a LOT of pressure but nothing broke.

      Awesome! I'm glad the video was helpful. Sadly I too didn't see a huge difference between high and low beam but I don't really need it often.

      Idk, however I did add a link to the bulbs I used. There should be a part number in their description for the product.

    As promised, here is the response from Auxito. I was instructed to set up a return thru Amazon for a refund. Long story short, their bulb, and other Chinese made 1:1 profile, where the fins are inline with the blade are NOT suitable OR legal in our Gen2 Souls. Due to the improper orientation in our housing you get a massive ball of light that only extends out 100ft as measured on an alignment wall. High beam creates a dark spot in front of the car and only extends out about 50ft. All the light goes off to the sides, like a wide beam instead of high beam, due to improper orientation. In states that still use alignment screens or the newer beam setting/testing machines you will fail your inspection using these lights. They are going to look into making a bulb suitable for Kia’s and probably the Ford’s that have the same issue. The recommendation is we need to use a bulb that has an adjustable collar or base to allow for proper orientation.

    So this doesn't look like an upgrade. It literally looks like a bulb change but just putting in led bulbs instead of the regular ones but doesn't it require different wiring harness or adapter for leds?? Also the little u & d you spoke of , you showed a close up of the screw that you turn to adjust that but we have no idea where u went to find that screw or where to look. This has to be the worst tutorial ever.

    • @MentorMel
      @MentorMel ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow so negative, if you go and look at your setup you will see where the screw is. Also if you are going to be negative please continue on to another or better yet stay in your own bubble. Have the day you deserve ✌🏾
