    This video was really really helpful. I had a jam under the Paper Path Cover. I would not have known, without this video, that I could access that part of the inside of the printer. Very well designed HP product. Thank you for this great, informative, clear to understand instruction video. ... Also, I print art prints on photo glossy paper and the colors are rich and excellent. I also print transfer sheets for hot-iron on to t-shirts and this printer is great for both!! Thank you!

    I watched the video but the paper keeps getting jammed in the printer carriage. What can I do to stop the jamming? It has never done this before. Thanks

    Wow! I had already tried to shaking method but it didn't help. But pushing a slick cardstock paper through did. There was a piece of scotch tape in it. I can't say thanks loud enough!!!

    I just bought my Hp officejet 5740 and I keep having this paper jam error report even tho there's no paper jam. I have tried your steps but still.

      Step 1. Open link: support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
      Step 2. Select the product type.
      Step 3. Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
      Step 4. Select the country from the drop-down.
      Step 5. You should see the HP phone support number.

    This video is so helpful! Guess what I found inside my printer- a pen !! At first I thought it came with the printer, but then I realised- who would put a pen inside a printer? I also found a drawing of a pepper. 😂i honestly don't know how the pen got inside though..

    You missed the part I need to access to get to my paper jam. I can see paper just peeking up from the rollers when I take out the interior paper guide, but the paper is not visible from underneath. It must have bunched up between those access points. How do I get to that?

    My printer keeps saying its jammed and none of the instructions work. The paper is all the way behind all the mechanisms given for fixing the jams.

    Friend dropped off that printer at mines, said it does constant paper jam.
    So i looked inside properly and there's no paper jammed anywhere, pieces etc.
    Tried various paper thickness with no luck
    Ever single paper is stopped by roller cover beyond ink cartridges.
    I suspect crappy sensor or mechanical fault. I know what I won't be buying

    Envy 5660, photo paper tray blocked, cannot print, cannot print, no paper jam, your so called help has not worked, Windows 10 states my PC is up to date with updates!

      Have you tried removing all the paper & reloading. Kinda should work like a reset. Make sure side aligning holders are not too tight on the stack of paper in the tray. Good luck

    I tried this process multiple times. No paper anywhere and I cleaned the bubs. And I still get paper jam. I have had two HP printers and each one was a significant source of frustration. I cannot even scan with the "paper jam" error, this expensive all-in-one printer is completely useless. I will never buy a HP product again and I strongly recommend that you do NOT BUY HP!
