when you suddenly obtain a golden gun while not having purchased one its got to do with the enemy player. a glitch with hanzo that also has a golden gun would make the game think you a gold gun aswell after enough shots. i think this is another type of glitch where you lose your golden gun in a game randomly . its happened to me before on mercy and ana.
The gold gun glitch happens when a hanzo with a golden bow hits you at low health without killing, the interaction with the golden arrow and the player model triggers a weird bug where you get golden gun for the rest of the round, unless you swap. Hope that clears some things out
Video idea: try to guess the players main character- have them play 2/3 games with different characters and you spectate/ review trying to guess their main

It mostly just depends on how you play, and I way too often click at the "close enough" point where projectiles help me more than hitscan, which I always miss the first bullet from and do very poorly on the sniper characters.
can't believe he didn't react to the sleep dart at 1:37, a menacing hanzo takes half of the screen and is about to power a tree through their skull, yet the player tries to sleep dart the few pixels of the top of the enemy ana's hood that they can barely even see (but I guess is closer to the crosshair)
Afaik most aimbot programs use positional data of the players in order to aim, so it's as easy to lock on friendly targets as it is to lock on enemies. And yeah, every player's computer technically knows where everyone is in the map at any given time, the data is just not shown on your screen, but used for client-side calculations on hits and stuff.
So aimbot has evolved to where you can help people instead of using it to cheat I feel like this is a “safe” way to use aimbot but I might be definitely wrong

I've had an Ana cheater in my match and they think they are being sneaky because you're not going to see as many kill cams from them if they're mostly healing. But they got some weird kills on me and I could clearly see they were cheating. I reported them and did get a notification the next day that action had been taken (Blizzard doesn't say who they take action against but it was obviously most likely the person I reported for cheating the day prior.)
I had the golden gun glitch when I was playing Mercy. It was so weird! I was playing normally and then all of a sudden it was golden. I went back into replay to see and record it, but then the replay would also glitch, as sometimes it show it as the Golden Gun, and other times it wouldn’t. It would also sometimes show up earlier than when I saw it, or later. I guess it’s still not fixed. I also had it happen when I was DVA as well, but only as Baby DVA golden gun.
There was 1 moment that gave it away to a 100% cheating fact. It was when the Moira came from spawn and dropped down. The bot jerked his aim hard to anticipate the fall, making him shoot the wall. 4:56
At 2:30 when Jay slows down the replay, you can see he tracks the enemy perfectly as they jump behind the wall before his aim flicks to Doom, and around 3:01 when Genji is behind a wall he looks like he tracks him through the wall
Played against a wall hacker this weekend. He stared at people behind walls. He claimed it was a skill issue. Of course Blizzard does nothing about it.
I actually feel like they're punishing a lot less ever since they're losing players, before after an evening of playing I seriously the next day almost always got the message that my report did something (I'm not a report heavy person, but theres always that one game where you get a toxic person). Now I don't get that message anymore at all.
That gold gun bug still exists. I had that when OW2 launched. You'd get the gold gun skin on Ana, after you re spawned. It basically confirms skins can be loaded, during games. They just don't want to do it.
overall, this is a pretty decent aimbot, it's very minimal in its lock on and doesn't track like hardlock aimbots. Like I'd almost believe this was a person with good aim if I were to casually glance at a moment of game play (other than being actually bad at everything else like positioning, sleeps and nades) - given that it's also slightly projectile when no scoping, it's one of the better aim bots I've seen.

I remember versing a widow cheater once whose hacks kinda fuckes them over cause it kept locking onto people through walls instead of the ones right out in the open. We won that game 😎
absolutely nothing in the video proves or even comes close to looking like cheating. the one instance in the beginning that jay says kinda looks sus is literally just a hand shaking movement and can be repeated and is seen by MANY, MANY players, including ppl that have insane aim like faide, or aceu in games like apex. this looked almost identical to some of my games playing at the high gold low plat level. although this dude had some absolute dogshit sleeps.

just watch it in 0.25 speed.. there are so many shots he missed (actually trying to attack and hitting a teammate) none of his shots changed direction and his gun didn't correct itself when shooting.. he doesn't look like a cheater.. just someone with good aim.. you can watch from 1:30 in that speed (there's a lot of action) he also can't see anyone behind walls, as you can see from that moment with hanzo. and also if you look at the hanzo.. jumping above her and than loosing her? yeah I'm not surprised the anna did more damage.. this is no gold or plat lobbies..

Me and my friends played against a soldier we think was hacking in comp recently. We are playing around silver and gold and this dude hit every headshot on several of us outside of his ult.
I think it's because their hanzo probably had a gold gun, when you get shot byone of his golden arrows if you die you technically own the arrow and it makes you have a temporary golden gun
Ive had that Golden Gun glitch. I was playing Orisa and after I got elim'd and reapawned...gun was gold. MOST OF THE TIME dying again resets it sometimes it doesn't and remains gold until ya die again.

I'm not convinced they are cheating. They certainly might be but it's entirely plausible this is just a gold support with better than average aim and worse than average positioning and hero knowledge. They certainly missed a ton and those they were hitting were typically easy shots on silver/golds that were moving predictably and in a straight line. Ana's unscoped healing has a hitbox bigger than handzo's arrows and moves way faster so constantly hitting a Hog is not exactly hard. You are right most cheaters won't go Ana because getting the program to change parameters between a projectile and a hitscan shot on the fly is really hard and Ana's power comes from using big cooldowns at the correct time not from perfect aim.

The gold gun glitch isn’t just Ana. There’s quite a few heroes I’ve seen it happen on. It happens if you own the gold gun but don’t have it equipped - it essentially randomly turns your gun gold. Really ruins the fashionwatch smh.

@@Hitoshuratdn Advanced cheat software and sneaky players hide it pretty well. The easiest giveaway is how fast they shoot you when you leave the cover (when they don't know you are there). Since these clowns have wallhacks, they forgot what is natural and what is not. Another giveaway is the random shooting to lower their accuracy stat. Some intentionally miss a lot. Some use it when they need it, some use it only against one person in the enemy team. There are a lot of workarounds to hide and be sneaky while climbing up.

Once I faced one Ana that for sure was hacking, but only to hit the enemies, he missed his teammates a lot.
I think the reason they keep whiffing sleep darts is cause it's not activated by mouse 1, which is what I imagine what the aim bot uses as a trigger

It’s a glitch with honzo if the honzo gets u low heals and then someone else kills u it gives u the golden gun till u die again

The gold gun glitch isn’t Ana exclusive! I used to get that bug with Mercy before I unlocked her golden weapon. I’d randomly get a golden staff in the middle of matches.

i have experienced the golden bug, but i had it on mercy instead. it was strange, because i knew on my current account i didn’t have goldens anymore as i had them on my old accounts. 5:19

There are so many cheaters in OW2. You can only catch stupid people. Yesterday i played a game where both of enemy team dps were hacking lmao. It's that wild.
I'm pretty sure I have faced against cheaters in Asian servers but neither my team nor I can really tell.
@@Hitoshuratdn Advanced cheat software and sneaky players hide it pretty well. The easiest giveaway is how fast they shoot you when you leave the cover (when they don't know you are there). Since these clowns have wallhacks, they forgot what is natural and what is not. Another giveaway is the random shooting to lower their accuracy stat.
Some intentionally miss a lot.
Some use it when they need it, some use it only against one person in the enemy team. There are a lot of workarounds to hide and be sneaky while climbing up.
