I've got to say, this does look promising. The ARPG field is fiercely competitive.
People want a triple A game with an independent studio. I think this game has a lot of heart.
“I think it’s the perfect size”
An arpg with a decent camera tilt in 2025 is unprecedented. If there's good camera zoom in/out I'm in!
I’m personally hoping on the minute chance they’ll add first-person mode👌🏻⚡️
The game has 2 player offline co op and 4 player online co op
Exile’s Path: Gates of Baldur
Exile's Diablo: Gates of Baldur Path
Path of Gate IIII
Baldurs Path
Zzzzzzzzzz
Pretty ballsy to try to release an arpg right now
You mean when compared to that other game that's in such a poor state that the devs had to remove everyone from their previous game and move everyone on to the new game so that people can play it without crashing getting timed out from insane lag spikes. That the game your talking about?
What game is that
@@nathanhaley1353probably path of exile 2 or Diablo 4 only those are popular now
The secret child of Path of Exile and Dragon age?
this game has potential keep it updated keep visual updated story and content and it will smash diablo 4
If it's full campaign co-op, im down. If not, then it will be a pass.
Bring back Campaign co-op games. Also, please dont use the "Early Access" status to avoid criticism.
I agree there aren’t enough coop games anymore
The vibrant colors look amazing in the cutscenes, I hope there are different ranges for the top down view (like: high, medium high, and medium).
Color me surprised, but this looks like it could have potential.
Is offline gameplay or co-op possible?
YES THE GAME HAS 2 player split screen co op and 4 player online co op. So on both of you question is yea
If that's true then that's already a plus should be the norm for a lot of games but it's not
Hopefully this would be a worthy successor of Titan Quest and Grim Dawn
Nice. Might hit the sweet spot between Diablo (too little) and Poe (too much) like Last Epoch. Also love the underwater concept
Such a pity EA isn't going to be released now, on february, during this Arpg lack of content month (waiting for PoE2 big patch, waiting for PoE1 3.25 and half Phrecia thing, waiting for D4 and LE to cook something good). Unfortunately, March/April is gonna be a bad moment, coinciding with big Arpgs new content. I can see the potential anyway. GL
Sure would like to see more ARPGs that aren't fantasy/demon/gods based. Something like Assent or Ruiner that's more in depth and not twin stick shooter. The graphics on this look good though 👍
Yesssss draggggons.... i rlly love dragons.. doesn't matter if i see them in movies , games , anime i just liove them
3:33 is that leyndell?
Is there chatacter customization?
I don't mean to sound ignorant here, but is it safe to say that this game is similar to Diablo 3?
Uh this story is literally the Bible. God created the angels and some of them got prideful and then fell and were cast down to earth. The Hebrew word Seraph is the Hebrew word for dragon, seraphs are dragons.
hm... there's a lot of Last Epoch in this game
$24.99 for E.A. an easy instant pass. Enough paying to do devs job (testing the quality of their game).
And 20% on early access launch. But yeah if you don’t wanna early access that’s a personal decision. Nothing wrong with devs trying to get a player base to help shape a game (when in most likelihood it will be more expensive on launch).
Are the dragons 100% science based?
No, only 63% science based. They took some liberty with a few things.
I don't think these guys know how to make a decent ARPG, they managed to screw up the Warhammer fantasy ARPG. If you can't get that down right, I don't expect them to do much better with an overly generic shitty "grimdark" fantasy setting like this one.
Hope it does well.
IGN review: 7 unless they didnt pay enough
I'd rather be Dovahkiin in Skyrim thanks
oh hey diablo, and path of exile all over again
Man I hope this game has some form of endgame.
It honestly looks nice
diablo with dragons...
OK I'll check back in at a later date lmao. No point in even announcing this thing
holy crap its MU
Okay, u have my money.
It looks interesting🤔
Path of Diablo Epoch wolcen
i'm sorry but dragons are the most boring overused thing in all fantasy and this point
I thought this was PS5
If someone in IGN would kindly suggest to the game’s producers that it would be a brilliant idea to allow DLC for first-person mode then I’ll eagerly buy this game…😇🐲
Word: The Wordening
I honestly don't see this finding success, especially as an EA release with PoE2, Diablo4, LastEpoch, etc... around. It doesn't seem original enough and from everything I've seen so far, it doesn't bring anything new to the genre to justify its existence. :/
