    Man I feel like that organ was one of those things you always wanted to do but just got daunted by the sheer amount of work and just getting started. It was worth it though, especially good to see you got the views on it that you deserved.

    I just wanted to thank you for sharing your extraordinarily gifted imagination and hardware skills. Its a pleasure to watch such creativity. I like that you think of absurd notions and actually execute them. What a wonderful thing to be able to do and how wonderful it is to see! I expect that wherever you life leads, you'll be brilliant. Cheers mate!

    Looks and sounds great! If you tuned the clock cycle speed of the Furbies' down, it'd sound more like a strange human choir? Someone should parody a 1970's home organ advert with the Furby Organ in it.

    That bike is outstanding!

    • @MerlinErdogmus
      @MerlinErdogmus 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I kinda thought he would show how it runs on energy while riding the bike. I think that might be a neat feature since you have to coordinate the bike into not crashing, keeping balance, recording, keeping a certain speed or enrich or devalue it while you program the synth on the bike. I hope this helps as a inspirational tip. As a musician you're everything I want to be. I definitly wanna do stuff like you too, but I got no idea where and how to start. Still overcome with simple tracker software.

    • @therealjaston
      @therealjaston 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Perhaps he used some type of kinetic energy device to charge it, connected to the wheel? Like a hamster to a running wheel

    • @MerlinErdogmus

    I'm not aware of a working project that uses more arduinos. 45 furbies with 2 arduinos controlling each, plus the keyboard. That's 91arduinos!!! And it all works!!! (my guess is there are more lurking elsewhere within the project too. :-) SpaceX's simultaneous dual rocket booster landing isn't the only wicked cool thing I've seen lately. :-) Way to go!!

    I have to admit I did one hell of a wheezy old man laugh that morphed into a Harley Davidson laugh over the Furby organ as the disbelief was replaced with belief.
    I'd just subbed in the days before because the TH-cam recommended algorithm had seemingly worked as I'd been looking at loads of circuit bending vids but the Furby Organ was an absolute demon of a project to behold!
    One thing I am curious about tho is, has Hasbro been in touch about the abuse of their critters or do they want to have a look at it for shits & giggles!? The could do one hell of an advert with these critters chirping away and the nightmare fuel pouring out of the speakers and kids looking on with spirally eyes and following the evil tones!

      Nice. You're not looking to sell the MS-10 since you have the 20 are you? On the other hand, from what I remember they're pretty expensive. I'm looking for a real vintage style synth. Something under $1000. I was thinking about a Yamaha CS-5 or 10. Or maybe the reface. They're pretty nice, inexpensive, polyphonic. I might do that. Any suggestions?
